  1. Bedlington fanciers tale The blue in a bedlington is genetically a different type than the blue in bull types Isn't the Blue a dilution of Black? Yes it is in almost all breeds. It's more of a slate colour in bedlingtons and isn't the same, genetically

  3. No Most people assume it's difficult to prove but if the original material is used for commercial gain then it's a doddle
  4. I'd hazard that Blue Paul's were likely gone by the time Mr Breay had his dogs Perhaps there were enclaves still about though, it's possible I suppose They're essentially (supposedly) where the blue comes from in Staffs and Am Staffs. One of the localised bull terrier breeds that would've been added into the mix I have seen the odd blue or even lilac Patterdale for sale - perhaps it goes back to this addition?
  5. Yeah but either way you ought to be careful if your using someone else's original material without permission. They can literally take you to the cleaners as it's up to them what they value the content at Any court in the land will back them too
  6. Everyone's talking about proven stock. If I had anyone on here vouch for me, and my kennels up I'd take his hand off for £250 A chance on a what, 6 season? dog from good stock is worth every penny in my mind
  7. Very interesting. So tell me, if I wanted my terrier to actually look 6 inches longer, and maybe a wider girth, what angle would you suggest I put the camera at ? I'm talking terriers here, obviously. you'd have to photoshop mine in place of yours to get that look........................ How would he have that picture?!?
  8. The bigger bull crosses come from pet bulls. Blues/ or being bred simply because they're ed noses etc They're what most people *imagine* bulls to be but are always bigger and heavier That being said, they do add enough power and strength and drive to get the job done. But they're no game dogs
  9. Is the Pure named Nero still around? Heard (read) that he was very vey good
  10. Gun dogs and the sale of , not part of the hunting life !! I stand by my earlier comments or are you calling me a liar, Oh and by the way I'm not your mate You only ever come on here to sell your overpriced shite....jog on Manchester , what do you know about hunting dogs ?An armchair hunter no doubt !! I know enough not to buy one of a peddling cnut like, you,get em on gumtree, youll be fine on there... stick to corrie you'd be better off wanker Armchair hunter lol, youre dogs are either nuts deep, knocked up or nursing .....be honest with yourself,if your dogs were that go
  11. You looking for the greyhound fox, Neil?
  12. Oh of course, they're people that I half know - I buy and sell from them quite a lot so that's a given
  13. Yeah I spoke with him last night actually, he's all for it As I said - you're more than welcome to pop along if you fancy it too
  14. Oh mine are only pups tbh so I knew to invite people that know a little more than I - but it's a start ain't it
  15. I reckon about 11 months now Yeah I've got in touch with a couple of fellas from fmwtc so hopefully should be ok And ive only ever been on permission - just not my own
  16. Because of my line of work I deal with this place quite often, but hopefully ill do well and word will get about The Patt I have isn't shy at all but the other two aren't doing a damn thing at the moment. The blonde one doesn't like getting bit back even in play (but she's more of a pet anyway) and the seal one just hasn't got any kind of interest whatsoever yet... hopefully the rats can help that
  17. I've just this morning got my first bit of permission - only for ratting mind - but I'm made up It's a very good size scrap yard and the owner said if everything goes ok then I can do his 15 acre farm that hasn't been touched for years too
  18. that was exactly my first thought, but it isn't the one that I thought it was as there was some slight white on the chest He was a young dog being sold a year or two back
  19. *Some* is motion sickness, so being in a box or footwell is fine and avoids the problem. My first terrier was like that *some* is bad, jolts driving Some is just plain travel sickness
  20. No probs - hope it all works out for you, and I'll be back to your pm when I have a little more battery Quite a few lads "contributed"to his books without knowing ,me included .When you see him D ,mention there's a thread on here he may be interested in lol.Deadeyes ,you fancy acting on commission v JB. When was his book published? And I may ask a favour of you in a year or two so I'll do it - if it can be done - as a favour ??
  21. They was taken down as the man got the hump with know it alls on there who didn't know shit and was slating the opportunity. Some of the first people to comment were dog men that know him and his dogs This is the dog that's 'full of mange'... Mine is the same in some lights, just very very fine hair. There's a few on here can advise if mine is in decent nick or not
  22. I'm not sure on the statute of limitations tbh - I think that 6 years is usually the limit. If you know the title of the article then I can see if I can pull the article myself as I still have some old friends at the job
  23. You put a bull across that little bitch of yours mate I'd say it's cock would split her in 2 little own pups with big heads Yeah no that's not happening! If she proves worthy then I'll take a litter from her in the future but it'll be to dilute any bull down as she's so small I've got plenty of options and even more time before I need to do that anyway. I just wanna enjoy her for a while and see what she's made of
