  1. Took delivery of new oled 008 last week looks a good picture in day. But to be fair not much difference at night to the original 008
  2. I use ramshot hunter and Sierra 85 gn hpbt to great effect in my 243. Seems best all round for deer and vermin. Little meat damage
  3. Top job that mate. You had a cracking day well done
  4. Last season on the shoot off the feeders. Thought I sent you that mate My mate had 8 last week of the green feeder middle of the day in 2 hours. Once they find peanuts there is no stopping them. I am as bad with ginsters??
  5. Great effort mate. Plenty up with you. I will send some ferrets up in post?
  6. Got one ben. Great tool use mine a fair bit from foxes to crows. Subs are quieter but as said earlier a lot dearer.
  7. cant remember last time I shot something prone other than paper. I am alright getting up and down. But It's my luck I will be lying in shit that worries me
  8. I have a set of the first viper flex quads. Had them years and are very strong. Great for carrying for does when hocked. Have looked at reckon which I think would work great when calling. but I need you guys to spend your money and give me honest opinion. before I think about spending mine ?
  9. Shot barrel out on my old T3 in 243 a few years ago upgraded to a Sauer 404 which is great. I do a lot of fox control on varied ground from daytime calling with 20g hushpower to NV and thermal in dedicated fox boxes. But I find my little t1x with pard 008 so handy when kept to sensible range. Makes for ideal tool on some of the smaller permissions. It has its limitations and does not do what my 85gn homeloads do. but will humanely kill foxes when shot correctly.
  10. Been cutting mine and kids hair. Although it only costs me venison and a few pheasants to a mate for all our haircuts. I think I will carry on doing it.
  11. I shoot as many with mine as I do 243 and I shoot a couple each year
  12. Thanks mate. I will try and do a few write ups on here. I know you have been missing them on the other site lol
  13. Knocked up another feeder at the weekend. Made out of old deck boards seem to work well best thing is cost nothing. Have them in all the woods on shoot.
  14. Not far 75 yards of bait all dropped within a few feet of each other. I like to get close less chance of me missing lol
  15. We had sixteen of our shoot on one feeder over the weekend. Seems loads here. The bait station with peanuts work a treat
  16. Managed three last night after chickens and ducks had been taken. Baited up one spot with dog biscuits the night before and sat in the truck with mighty hmr and pard 008.
  17. Looks like a great day. Had a few hours in my woods today
  18. I have a full box of split necks in my cabinet I have found over the years. Worth checking them before. Had one squib round that stuck in the barrel. Luckily i knew it didn't sound right and checked before cycling another. Great little round imo providing ammo is up to standard
  19. On side as Ben says mate. Personally I never use the on board ir. If ever you travel to Somerset in the dark you can have a look
  20. Add a laser ir and will get you out a lot further than that. As close to a drone as I have seen and quarter of the price
  21. Fair enough mate. But I would definitely have a good feel of both actions and triggers before deciding. But I think I know which way that will send you to the t3
  22. Check them all individually for split necks first mate.
  23. Forget the berserk stock mate. Get another tikka. I personally never liked the fit of those unless shooting predominantly prone. Howas can be very accurate but a bit agricultural. I would definitely opt for T3 imo
  24. Got one ordered with Blackwood's just waiting for arrival
