  1. You would think so but trust me they are not lol. Nature of the job you use it enough it's going to be wet so always carry a rolled up plastic bag. Used it last week we with vixen call. rain was sideways but still brought a dog fox in. Funny bit was only had orange Sainsbury's bag for caller
  2. That ward looks the perfect kit for that set up well done
  3. I got a FoxPro had for years only thing I had to change was battery compartment rusted out lol. Use its couple of times each week and has accounted for one or two over the years. Although there are loads of calls on these things only ever use about 8. Use the remote in my pocket without looking as so used to it now. Great kit worth every penny just take a bag when it's wet
  4. Can you put my name in for fleece and tweed waistcoat mate ATB ed
  5. Too shooting. That's the scope everyone should be looking to buy still nothing to compare to the drone
  6. Went today. No traffic was in by 845. Was a fair bit to look at but as said earlier if you took clothing and food out it would be very small. Remember going as a kid in the eighties and people selling ferrets and pups at campsite and showground. I know those days are gone and the internet has killed off a lot of the deals but still a nice walk round. Had a good look at new thermal and NV quite fancy a spotter with lrf but don't want to sell a kidney to upgrade. Also can't see any NV sight that compares to drone yet
  7. You need a drone ben sell a kidney. Basic settings no wifi crap recording etc. Just the best picture nv by a long way
  8. Sounds daft but I had this problem with a it once turns out I had put nippleless 18650 battery in so it would recoil connection out. Probably not yours but worth mentioning
  9. My guess was farmer likes to see the dead ones. To check job is being done and disposes of them. Had a guy years back used to ask me to leave them in gateways and he would pick up on morning rounds.
  10. Usually effects my digestive system as well as eyesight david?
  11. I have tried everything NV pretty much. Have a pard on hmr witch is perfect for that rifle. But as said earlier finally settled on drone for foxing rifle. Tried a few thermal scopes but I Iike to see what I am shooting......... Wait for replies to that one ?
  12. Get a drone the rest are on a similar level. But the drone is a different level from all the other digital NV units. It won't record, have millions of reticles, etc etc but If you want clarity and the best digital NV scope made get a drone
  13. Just bought a Spartan this week. Not cheap and my hands were tied because my rifle does not have standard swivel. Seems great bit if kit. With drone pro and mod on top of rifle I wanted something light. Will be using it in my various fox boxes. If I am honest use my quad sticks for all other shooting apart from targets. Had a few Harris copies and were crap. Genuine Harris are good and can be picked up quite cheap second hand.
  14. Really depends on budget. T3 is probably best value for money out of box accuracy is great. But saying that I did sell a T3 to upgrade to a sauer 404. Fantastic rifle does it shoot any better than tikka? probably not lol
  15. Sit for the squirrel feeder at front. But if you notice the roof over hangs at front with about a 2ft gap at back. This works perfect for shooting standing with resting on top edge of box. There are a large amount of tall pine trees that the pigeons seem to love aswell as everything else lol
  16. I have a feeder set up in front of caravan. Which is comfortable. But just built this one in another wood last week Bottom pic is view to feeder. Nearly as comfortable as my fox boxes lol
  17. Falcon lighthunter. Old and a bit like rocking horse shit as no one sells them. As light as it gets
  18. Great write up mate. Another drone fan here. Still nothing to beat that scope. Mine has been a great purchase the one or two I have had with it?
  19. Exactly this always makes me smile when you here it's a big dog taking hens or small vixen when it's probably half a dozen. With half as many following next week. I think a lot of people would be surprised the draw of a commercial chicken unit
  20. Just sold my 008 lrf plus. Good bit of kit. But would definitely say my original standard 008 has better clarity than new oled screen. If using at cf ranges another ir will be needed. I used my dragon fly ir. To be fair only sold it as I upgraded to drone which is a whole different level
  21. Pf18mp( prairie falcon multishot profile) is the model great rifle and great price. Enjoy
  22. Pard 008 lrf plus View Advert 6 months in original box with all accessories £750 Advertiser bumpy22 Date 15/11/20 Price £750.00 Category Scopes and Optics
  23. No dragonfly laser if. Only ever switch on when I shoot as spot with thermal
  24. Seems fine Ben. Always does a full night. But to be fair always carry spare battery
