  1. I'm from Swansea, our dog track is long gone now, i might be going to a game fair up Caerphilly way in a few weeks so i'll check out Bedwellty track when we're up there I think Fforestfach is still open, pm socks he will know. TC TC, I used to go to the dogs, mainly bedwellty and ystrad mynach, as a youngster with my old man and his mate, can't remember going to other places, might have but it was a long time ago lol, but I had a very big bitch given to me about 20 years ago, supposedly bought at a sale in skewen track, would you know if that track was still in operation then?

  4. my bitch was like this, she's getting better now, i took her out on her own to a 11 acre field, she wouldn't come to a whistle, so i took a bag of dog biscuits and every time she came back to my whistle i gave her one and praised her, now she comes back most times and is getting a lot better

  7. i read somewhere that some hares can do about 40 mph, the dog track by me was knocked down a few months before i got into the dogs so i haven't timed mine, if i did time mine i'd ask myself how long the average field my dog runs is and measure that distance for him
  8. Dunno, 'patterpugs' got a good ring to it, and would probably sell really well i think the toffs would call them pugsleyDales
  9. as long as they don't start breeding them with pugs we still have a chance......
  10. Deben Tracer 170 Variablei'm considering getting the 10 AH battery myself, how long did yours take to charge?
  11. i don't know much about terriers but he said they were "middleton Bred" does anyone know if he breeds patterdales?

  13. i know a man who bought "middleton bred" patterdales just before christmas, strong pups smashing rats already
  14. is it me or does the dogs expression say "i don't want to be in this photo"
  15. as in my experience, as soon as you cross the severn bridge there are bunnies everywhere!
  16. My 5 year old Saluki Greyhound is the same in the day, selective deafness, never failed me on a lamp though

  20. i know a deerhound cross greyhound that is that colour too, lovely colour brindle
  21. thanks, i'll try giving him chicken mince and rice i think
  22. does anyone have trouble keeping weight on they're Saluki or saluki crosses? my Saluki greyhound is always losing weight then putting it back on a few weeks later, with no change to his diet or exercise. he is upto date on his wormers etc i feed him Gain 28 greuhound food, and my bull X doesn't lose weight at all
  23. totally agree with you mate, no one needs to take 30/40 a night Ah now that depends on whether your hunting for the pot or doing pest control for the land owner. Also I can see rabbits being sold pound each to cover fuel costs. very valid point there, a skinned and gutted rabbit in the local market by me is a fiver and they come from China! i wouldn't mind having a contact to buy a few off me to cover fuel expenses
