    Easy mate had the same problem few years back, you want 2 inch mesh, cut it to size and screw washers into corners to hold it on. Skim beads are rubbish you want something stronger, get to your local welders engineers and the will cut you some out of sheeting and bend it to. Your requirements, 1/12 inch is usaualy spot on.
