  1. good to read you are having fun and learning so quickly as you go along, when you are decoying replace decoys with your real birds as you shoot them, much more realistic and any incomers should feel more at home. don't waste your pigeon breasts in a curry, try them flash fried in a few herbs still a little pink in the middle, delicious,
  2. i use a piece of scrim net, long enough to stretch ear to ear, a piece of string tied to the corners and held in place by your cap, it sits on bridge of your nose and hangs just below chin, plenty of ventilation and not looking through slits and also does not cause condensation on binocular lenses
  3. you could order a kit from sandwell field sports, personaly i do not like the gas rams.
  4. nice little outing, and a lovely rifle just something special about using springers
  5. why not continue to use the scope you already have and save your money for what you really want in one step instead of two, you can still shoot a long distance on 9x
  6. JOIN, it is the best organisation to be a member of, you never know when you will need their help, i have been a member for a loooong time.
  7. i have just purchased a daystate huntsman classic at 30 ft lbs, i have a old tasco 3-9x50 on at the moment, what would you recommend with the mildot or grid line type of reticle, the shop was showing me a mamba lite but decided to take my time choosing a good scope for the gun.
  8. hello to all on Huntinglife, i have just joined what looks a real good site, i am a shooter of many years, enjoying rough, decoying and some stalking shooting, i also enjoy using my air rifles as much as my centre fires and shot guns, also like sea fishing when time allows. i have a lively springer dog who is great fun to be out with.
