    Today started off with a nice sunrise we arrived in the dark set the nets only to discover the on day break that we had been beaten to it with a tell tail signs of crushed brambles and spade marks . We tried its anyway with no luck 20 yeards down the hedge the next bury had no sign of any ferreting so the normal struggle of clearing the holes . Drop the fert in nowt this carried on for the most the hedgeline we bolted two in 500 yards with a lot of bloody hard work . When we reached the bottom there is massive wood pile with alot of signs of rabbits bonus of the boundary being rabbit fence

    A good Stihl saw 230 c 16 blade easy start pull cord bascally you pull the cord then again and it fires quickly The MS230 Petrol Chain-saw is identical in size and appearance to the MS210 chain saw but comes equipped with a larger 40.2 cc engine. You might consider the MS230 Chainsaw if you will be undertaking an above average workload or sawing larger sized logs.     There is little that is pure a sport than ferreting like Phil says I have only hunted during the time that really rabbits have been increasing in numbers but in the july 2007 floods it all but wiped out the thames basin rabbit population . For 5 years you would struggle to catch 6 or 7 2012/13 brought bags of 40/50 so its swings and roundabout its the same with pigeon shooting the mid 90s was peak in our area with slow decine over 10.15 years that peak will come around again. But as with all hunting there is no gurantee bag which is what so alluring about it Keep at Cookie

    Les and crew ive supported you and your comments but I think you need to start looking at how you come across as you come across on the internet as unpleasant arrogant etc etc having not met you in person it would be unfair to judge you as real person but as internet person its not nice reading at times I know other push your buttons ,but sometimes it best to say nothing at all .     No one shovel suits ever condition its good to have a selection from a draining shovel to rabbiter to plain shovel Then on sandy shovel a good round mouth also a valueable tool I used is the post hole digger Go to car boots and build up your shovel collection ATB Cookie
