  1. Jackson Rifles do a really good range
  2. I'm sure I have one in my old box of bits give me till weds when I'm home and I'll dig through for you.
  3. Iv got a wolverine, very little recoil. Depends what your hunting with it really, 15 rabbits is a lot of rabbits etc. I carry a paintball carbon tank in my daysack if I'm going on a trip. This gives me another 15 shots.
  4. You need a MTC Genesis 5-20x50 £250, just so happen to have one for sale
  5. Don't force it first of all. Remove the scope and check the mounts are seated correctly. Then re set the scope up. Be careful thou you might find the round goes high or low. Failing that the scope is knackered.
  6. Hi mate, Long time no see. Is this good for cleaning the carbon out of silencers or am I thinking of something different ? Craig
  7. Utter tripe, lads should be ashamed of themselves. That said this Army is going down the shitter, pension smashed, morale smashed etc etc. But we still carry on regardless, take the shit and crack on. Even if the boss is a dick you just have to deal with it. If you don't like it sign on to JPA and do the three clicks to freedom.
  8. Sorry my bad maths , 200 yards is 4 in hold over
  9. Hmmm I don't know, iv just done some ballistic bashing (yes I'm sad) looks like a 4 in hold over at 180 yards, it's got the lefs
  10. What about the further permissions when a calibre hadn't been specified. And iv just been cleared to shoot there?
  11. Let me just summarise then. I have .17 HMR and .22RF on my ticket. I have permission on 3 pieces of land. All of which have deer stalking and fox calibre's on. If I was to put in a variation for say a .17 hornet, .22 hornet, similar .22 calibre's or infact .17 WSM would I need a new letter from my land owners for a fox calibre round?
  12. Both my permissions are clear for deer calibre's, would that count?
  13. Yeah iv kind of shot myself in the foot there. I got my land owners to stipulate the round, on advice from the police. However since gaining my FAC iv gained more permissions where by the police didn't ask what calibre just cleared me to shoot there. Why is it all so complicated? By the way, got a email from CZ today. "Dear Sir, I have to say that currently we are involved in so many projects that at least for the next 15 months there are no intentions to make rifle in .17 WSM cal. Yours faithfully, MILAN KUBELE MARKETING"
  14. I'll show you the letter next week when your over mate I may of miss read it all.
  15. Lol wilts have been great to be fair. I was told to change from .17 HMR to .17 hornet for example I'd need a new permission slip
  16. So your saying I 'd have to get another permission letter to get a.17 WSM to shoot it on the land I use my .17 HMR on?
  17. I see the point, my question is going to be more so licensing. Are existing .17 RF owners going to be allowed to one for one or will it be a care of a new variation completely. Putting the need calibre into a less attractive light
  18. I just don't tell her, she isn't allowed in the gun cabinet by law.
  19. When Camo-it reached a distributor target Jack Pyke were to buy the business. Looks like that is the case or is in the process of it.
  20. Yeah I tend to only shoot for a clean head shot, iv let a few foxes run for not having the perfect conditions for a perfect shot. If I'd had a .243 or similar I'd have take the shot. I think the .17 WSM will make not a great deal to range but give a good old whack
