    wasent sure Ditch, just a precosion, the rabbits i feed are full of TAPEWORMS,dirty buggers freeze the rabbits for a few weeks before you feed them to the ferrets,kills any parisites they may be carrying It would be easier just to gut them first they are gutted thats how iknow they are ther

    going to worm the ferts before i get stuck in to those bunnys want them tip top before i start do you recomend any particular one??

    Would appreciate that as well, we are training ours by saying no and blowing on their noses, sometimes we push the finger in to their mouth further which they don't like. But the more ideas/techniques the better. Do you guys let your ferrets mouth your hands? That is what ours are doing just now. Sometimes they just mouth, other times they do, not bite, but nip.     i feed my ferrets adlib on dodson and horrel dry ferret food .they seem to love it ,they wont eat rabbit if there is dry stuff

    there are a lot more rabbits in my area they have been breeding since feb the fields and the hill are black with them. Ive been ferriting for weeks

    your bloody ferret has never killed down the hole for 2 reasons 1 it hasent got the streghth 2 it would never have come bloody back out

    I started my 2 15 week old jills with their mother on their first outing. they have never looked back. they show alot of promise. when i want them out i whistle down the hole and come out straightaway
