    Arnt 100% mate, sire to him was a pure whippet arnt sure on the dams breeding bull/whippet/grey probley but was told she had patterdale blood in her. Get asked that a lot and to be honest I don't know my lady brought him he was sold as a coursing whippet cross he gets stuck in anyway.

    Dog is two never spent any time with ferrets, any advise on getting him used to them would be much apreaciated. Thanks in advance

    Cheers lads not 100% on his breeding but there's a lot of whippet in his make up the sire looked pure whippet and Arnt sure about the dam was told she had patterdale in her lines. The pup stands around 24tts and is nearly 14 month old.

    The only problem iv had with my pup his him not seeing squatters even in the day he's still not seeing them untill there right in front of him if there not moving he struggles see them at distance. Can be bloody frustrating all the best with the pup pal.

    Haven't been online for a few months due to a massive change in work which for the first time in my life I'm enjoying, the pups maturing nicely and has really found his feet now he has good pace and plenty of character to match both of us eager to get some time in on the lamp and really looking forward to our first season goin be a big learning curve for the both of us.

    Come summer time I'm sure he will be a lot more enthusiastic he is mostly whippet and doesn't have the thickest of coats that's for sure.

    How many of your dogs swim is it a wife's tale that only a few lurcher/whippet types swim or are there plenty out there that like a dip. I know its cold and won't encourage him in till it warms up but the pup won't even entertain gettin his feet wet. I think it's cracking exercise for them and if there's water my springers are in it both can retrieve from underwater both love the sea and they normally have a quick swim on there daily walk so would like the young one to get involved.
