    I think nobby is spot on make sure ur presentable and don't turn up with car full of lads etc iv been watching this bit of land full of game past few weeks my self iv been sat around in my work van around the area and the farmer seen me around there too so when I do go ask for permission il go in my work van and uniform, would u say a yes and the farmers name is enough or would u recommend something written ?

    [BANNED TEXT] lads my friends bred his bitch up to another dog said he didn't want to waste a season waiting around for my dog the nob but the bitch was 100 % right she had been bred once before and was standing all the time, there wasn't much difference in height etc that would or caused the problem , this other dog made it look easy lol he got two ties out of it , well at least I know in the future it's probably gonna be a artificial job for my dog.     Need some advice if anyone can help, I have a bull cross he is about 8 years old my best dog that I have owned , he is a big strong dog still but I'm having troubling breeding him. I would like to get a last litter out of him, the last time he was breed was when he was 5 years old iv recently tried mating him with a friends bitch he will mount the bitch and hump it but can't get it in, it seems to be to soft I have tryed helping him ( using latex gloves) lol but have had no look and never done a artificial insemination before and not the type of dog I could take to vets too.     When I said sometimes its hard to praise her when it's raining I didn't mean getting aggressive I just clip her on and then get off, but she wasn't socialised with people much when I got her all pups where kept in a cage that was in a dark shed. She was a very nervous dog. She's a lot better then what she was when we first got her confidence is building up

    If the pup is cowering down at only 13 weeks old then it either has a naturally very submissive and nervous temperament, or you've already given her reason to be afraid of you: which is it? You say: I do make a fuss of it and praise her but sometimes it's hard when it's throwing it down: so does that mean you have got cross with her, grabbed her as she's trying to run off? If you have mistakenly hurt her by doing that, and the pup is also very sensitive, then you have your answer. The thing you need most with pups is endless patience, and then some more patience.     Only had her nearly 2 weeks now iv got her walking on the lead with no problems she does sometimes do a emergency stop and you got to try not to trip over her lol i walk her on a quite field off the lead she runs about and love being off lead usually she stays close to me but when I try to clip her back on lead she hesitate to come close and sometime cowers down she doesn't have much confidence or lack of trust. I do make a fuss of it and praise her but sometimes it's hard when it's throwing it down and you want to get indoors but you can't get hold of her. I got told something about putting

    Got my first lurcher mainly for rabbits she is about 13 weeks now, at what age would you say is best to start working on her recall and retrieving? And what should I use for retrieving?

    I got my pup vaccinated got 40 days free insurance I was back the next day she had trouble with her bowels they said, each blood test they did cost 100 pound each and she stayed in for 3 days at vets on drip and antibiotics etc would of cost me a fortune if didn't have that insurance, only had to pay 90 pound excess so was quite fortunate but definitely worth getting insurance
