  1. Tried the gun with no mod today! So far so good! Group sizes are dramticaly reduced to 1/2 inch and even less! And I put it to the test tonight dropped a fox at 170 yards hope its stays fine!
  2. I will try with that mod on then guys, I do have to take it off to get it in my bag but I have a longer bag spare somewhere I can dig out!
  3. I'll get a new scope and see what happens then and keep you updated thanks for the help though!
  4. I'll try again haha I will sight my gun in at 100 yards so that I get a group of 3 in around 1inch and a half and go out lamping that night and it shoots fine(bullet hits where I aim) when I'm finished I head of straight home put the gun in my cabinet until next time( bare in mind the scope doesn't touch the cabinet at all) Take it out a few days later and my shots sometimes are not even on paper! And I havnt touched the gun!so if I want to go shooting I have to give my self time before to sight it back in every time! Is that any better?
  5. Also I clean the gun after every use with a bore snake and every 100 shots I will clean it with a rod and solvent
  6. Right this is what happens I sight my gun in at 100 yards and achieve 1inch groups then I lock my turrets. I take it out shooting live quarry and it holds its zero however when I go home put my gun in my cabinet and go to get it a few days later or a week the poi is totally changed and it changes randomly in all directions! I dont move my head when i look through the scope as I feel its comfortable. The mounts are tight and I've been through 2 different sets and it still hasn't changed! I have never dropped the gun or banged it! The gun has never really had a zero because its has always chang
  7. Yep the locking nuts are tightened after I zero it back in, personally I think its either a faulty scope or it getting knocked in transit. What scope you guys recommmend? For say a budget of £500?
  8. No I have mad sure to shoot it on a calm day ie no breath of wind what so ever and I have free floated the barrel on it as it was catching at the front of the stock. Could it be that I only use a soft gun slip to transport the gun and not a hard case could that be the cause of it loosing zero every time literally? It does group very well when I re zero it, I shoot off sandbags and it groups 5 shots in an inch and a half approximately and it holds it poi as I use it its just when I next come to use it it needs setting up again!
  9. Hi all, I have a problem with my CZ 17hmr style, it keeps loosing its zero every time I use it! I have hawke match style mounts on a weaver rail and a MTC Taipan 6x24x56 scope, Harris adjustable bipods a SAK moderator and I have fitted a lighter yodaves trigger kit. I have set the eye relief on the scope so I do not have to move my head and so I get a clear image through the scope. The only thing I can think of is that when I fitted the trigger kit I didn't use a torque wrench on the action bolts I just guessed them.... Could this cause it to loose zero all the time? Please someone help m
