I've got a 10month old bitch for bushing and ferreting. She's coming along well, pushes out the rabbits for my mates lurchers and sings when she's right on something in the bush which is exactly what i wanted her for. Caught her first rabbit about 2weeks ago, chuffed to bits as there had been a few "one that got away" before that!!

Afternoon all, new to the forum so please bear with me!! Just a little about myself....been hunting with my dad since I was about 3 or 4, grown up with lurchers, terriers, spaniels, ferrets, polecats, rifles, hawks (harris, gos and sparrow) even had my own Kes and Harris when I was a little younger. Always been into hunting but from mid teens to mid 20's I have been on and off the game and had other things to hunt around the pubs and clubs!! Now settled down and married with a 5 year old boy I thought it was about time I got back out into the open properly and started hunting again. Recently

I've got an 8month old border bitch and have been taking her out with me dads jack since she was 4/5 months old. She just followed the jacks lead, and within a few weeks she has been bushing v.well when she's out on her own and with pals lurchers. She's not caught yet but pulled a few out for the lurchers and had a couple of close catches this evening.
