Sorry its Davy Best here using Valerie's FB page, being good enough dos'ent come into it, there are lots of reasons, having had a young dog nearly ruined by rough handling is one of them. And as I said there are very few people I would'nt show under but I have'nt got £30 to throw away either, if I go to a show with no pre-paid entry I can do without entering them if I want to, if I enter a KC show you know who the judge is in advance.

That's a matter of opinion, there are very few, but there is a couple of "judges" I would not let put their hands on my dogs, and I'm not paying £30 only to withdraw my dogs on the day.

Thank you for your reply to my earlier message, but having 3 dogs qualified I would need to know who the whippet judge is before paying out £30.

From David Best, I am so sorry to hear of your decision regarding whippets at future shows. I personally, would like to thank you for the great show you put on yesterday, and not just because my whippet, Harley, won the Champion of Champions contest. I fully appreciate the hard work and many hours, that go into running a show like this, and for very little thanks. I really enjoy these shows and have made some very good friends through them, and I am sure that the vast majority of the whippet folk come out for a day's craic, and take the best dog home with them wether it wins or looses.
