. Build a chicken coop with nesting boxes and perches. The coop should be dark and the perches or roosts arrange like a ladder. The top perch should be close enough to the ceiling of the coop that the rooster cannot stretch out to crow. This way, the birds can then free-range in the day. At night they safely and quietly roost until the coop is opened.

everyones entitled to an opinion, forgive me if im wrong but it seems to me some people seem to forget or dont fully understand where the chicken originates, and how many different breeds make up the one in there yard, mongrels maybe in your opinion, good for nothing? well i aint sure, some people like the idea of grading hardfeathers and other fowl, thats there choice, whilst others seem to think they own pure, well that another topic, for me breeding different types is interesting, wat ever you like enjoy your birds

theres many lines to choose from but sourcing the right birds can be a pain, and lots of dealers to beware of, i myself have been stung so do your homework, i hatched my own stock from good lines of asil and shamo because i like the asian hard feathers to use as a base breed, im looking to breed a show type but takes many years to get what we are after, my aim is to breed the fantastic colours and type in the birds and im using american game hens to breed with my stags, for the longer feather, i have had good hatches this year and looking to keep a few back from the first cro -
