  1. I'm using factory at the minute but I've started saving for all reloading equipment mate. But to be honest it's the most accurate round I've shot even with factory rounds, but not many RFD's stock which is why I'm leaning towards hone loading.
  2. I was reluctant when shifting my zeiss victory, but if I'm honest I've not really noticed difference for £1600 price difference in low light but I know what you're saying.
  3. The Bushnell 4.5-14x44 is good scope and under £300 ??
  4. I sold all my scopes and replaced with side parallax gutted to see them go but worth it, love the eagle.
  5. It will work, but like I found with my zeiss anything under 90 yards was a fuzzy picture and anything past 110 yards was fuzzy.. The side parallax fine tubes picture like tuning TV set in. I'd let personally not bother without side parallax, but it will work.
  6. Brilliant bit of kit, better now I've got scopes with side parallax. I tried photon but couldn't get in with it.

Absolute bargain, and it's a shotgun with superior build quality, with an action which will last a lif
  10. Little video of the nitesite eagle in action on the rabbits using .22LR. I've not had it long but it's probably my new favourite new toy https://youtu.be/JAafPWG1cjo
  11. Hopefully mate, it's not as much stiff, it's just not very smooth and feels a little awkward, I went for a quick 2nd shot last week and found myself fumbling about with bolt

  13. My CZ527 .17Hornet. After some consideration I've replaced my HMR with the .17Hornet. My first CZ, only negative point is the bolt action, it feels a little clumsy compared to Anschutz / tikka / sak, but I'm hoping after a few hundred rounds it settles in. Very happy with the factory stock and accuracy.
  14. I've put the 3-9x42 version on my .22LR mate can't fault it for cost.
  15. Thought I'd log on after to see what's going on, it's been a while....And we're still talking about .22LR vs fox lol
  16. Contacted Zeiss and they retro fit, I've had price for ASV+ fitted to my scope £199 including VAT.
  17. Hi, I'm looking for an after market ballistic turrent to put on my zeiss victory. On long range shots I've been adjusting the elevation on scope, but every time I after to remove the original cap or leave it off. Can any one point me in the right direction or give me any advise ?? Also a rough idea of cost would be good.
  18. I've tried several brands over the years and my preference is ballistol. The universal oil is used on every part of my rifle it protects, maintains and lubricates, ok on stock also wood or synthetic. bsllistol ROBLA SOLO bore cleaner is best I've used.
  19. Cheers mate, hopefully the first of many.
  20. Well I've been noticing moles attacking one of my permissions main gardens so thought I'd give mole trapping a go.... Got a few tunnel and talpex traps and made a mole run probe out of steel stop cock bar £5 from B&Q and then just grinded end into a spike Put several traps down and went back to check finding this one... My first mole.
  21. Hoping someone could give me any advice with one of my permissions. For the last 15 months I've been controlling vermin on a local permission, I was originally guided around the boundaries by a keeper who has since left, after speaking with someone else next door they said the owner owns majority of surrounding land also, so thought I'd check with owner. After months of trying to arrange a meeting I received a letter with map from land registry and he's owns the land but rents to others so I can't shoot, but I've got permission for all the woodland surrounding all the land.
