    I've applied for .223 and live in South Yorkshire, FEO was brilliant, we visited my permissions together and all was passed.

    I'm sure it's just my bad luck as per usual mate, and I'm sure if you have contacts on the inside a few strings will get pulled. And it's to late with the spending I've got two rifles sat in local RFD. I'll keep you updated, hopefully you won't have the same issue.

    This time next week I'll hopefully have my rifles from RFD and in my gun cabinet, I've got an Anchutz .22 + Tikka T3 super varmint .223. The .22 comes equipped with 500+ Winchester subs hollow point 40 Grain. The .223 I'm going to buy several packs to see which best suits the T3, it's 1 in 12 twist rate, can anyone point me in the right direction or recommend ? I've been told the Norma 50 Grain VMAX would be a good choice ? I'll be using for foxing only.

    Well people I've just received an email from FLO, he's let me know the office have completed everything yesterday, it just needs signing and will be posted out this week so hopefully be with me Saturday or Monday. Didn't expect that...

    Recently read an article for best shotguns for under £1000, it recommended Lincoln or Bettinsolis if wanting a new one on budget Or Brownings / Beretta / miroku second hand. I'm no expert mate only just applied for my SGC but thought I'd share info.

    Keep nipping at the heels. Weekly updates. My interview was on the Monday and by the Friday it was through my letter box. Wow within week that's impressive mate, I'm going to give them a call tomorrow and get another update. Hopefully be here before Christmas.

    Cabinet was installed and all passed, I called FLO in December and he said to mail him info and he would speak with office and request they deal with ASAP. I've since spoke with BASC who had contact with manager at the office and they said they are processing back log this was 4 weeks ago.

    I had interview in October mate, everything went ok, since then it's been a waiting game.

    Well it's been 18 weeks since I've sent my FAC application off and still no sign of the ticket. Starting to do head in now, has anyone else waited this long ??

    Hoping to test it next weekend mate, didn't get instructions with it but read online about 3 different modes by twisting body but can't seem to change it. It come with red L.e.d mate, I will be looking at getting white head in future.

    One of mates was selling all his gear and I managed to get the night master 800 Dereelight off him, I've been out with him so know what it's capable of. It's got an extension bar and an extra battery, will this provide extra power or just increase the duration ?

    I've removed small section of skirting board on selected wall, fitted safe and then fitted skirting board either side of safe, the safe is flush to wall and looks nice and tidy.

    That's it I'm sold.... I'll stop being impatience for once in my life and wait a few month till I can afford the better option haha Wouldn't mind a test of the M1 like, we will have to sort something when you get time ?, I'll message you my mobile number.

    Thanks for advice mate, Think the a M2 will end up in my gun cabinet by the end of the year then, is there any difference with performance or is it just the auto that makes the m2 better option ? P.S Had update this week that they are now processing all grants, previously just said pending so hopefully this week or next and we can arrange a visit to the range, then maybe few pigeons

    I've been looking for my first shotgun selection and really like the look of the Benelli M2, I then turned my attention to the supernova for half the price, both 12g, with my budget in mind I'm leaning towards the supernova. I'm not too worried about pump vs auto discussion and would be happy with either. Thought I'd ask the experts though before making my selection, what else separates these two shotguns ?? I'll be using mainly for field work and the odd bit of decoying.
