    good shooting lads. i'd love to be able to calibrate my hw97kt when it comes back from tony wall's place like that. is it difficult to do and where is the shooting range you use, mine only goes out to 34 yrds.

    Try both if you can and whichever "feels" the best to you, that will be the one you'll be most accurate with.

    I know it's hard for the more experienced guys, but asking questions on here is research. Admittedly he should know the difference between hair and a hare, A1WOC is a prime example of over hunted hair, just to be clear No harm meant A1WOC.

    Im sure I watched a story on the news where in southern Ireland its legal to shoot badges and the cases of BTB has reduced dramatically. surely that's evidence enough!!

    Your dog is 8 MONTH OLD. I wouldn't worry too much. I know keepers who don't use there dogs until they're 18mnths so they've had time to grow up a bit. seriously, don't put too much pressure on a young dog or you could undo what it's already learned pal. good luck mate

    It's got to be whatever suits you best, if a gun fits you , you'll be a better shot. I had a pcp first then bought a springer and the springer deffo takes more shooting where as a pcp is easier. Again, got to a club and see if you can at least shoulder a few and see what "feels" right to you mate. Good look
