    Hey up lads, Is it possible to remove the cylinder on a tamper proof AA S400 And also I seem to be having difficulty removing the barrel, which is supposed to be retrained via 2 grub screws located in the top side of the action block. The reason I need to remove them is so I can have them dipped. ATB NATHAN

    Oryt fellas I have just bought an air arms s400 and need to remove the barrel to be cleaned and polished to bare metal, I am familiar with stripping these guns and have removed the small grub scree located on the top of the action but it still wont budge any others had similar issues with aa pcps and if so hoe did you solve it, Thanks in advance

    Evening chaps, Here is a pic of my project gun it was bought as a clapped out mess of a gun and after a lot of money and hard work it would rival most pcps and shoots groups of half inch at 40 yards ? here is a list of what I have done up until now 1)refurbed stock 2)full action deburr including cylinder and piston 3)upgraded piston seal 4)buttoned piston with delrin rings 5)cut down titan spring to reduce preload 6)full trigger strip down and all sears mirror polished 7)trigger springs replacing along with blade 8)barrel shortened to 10.5 inches, recrowned 9)bsa silencer

    Evening guys, I need someone in the northeast that can put a 1/2 inch UNF thread on the end of my hw barrel so it can accommodate a silencer can someone please help me ?

    Well after trying it out tonight it gives a very saturated red light, it does reduce output but not by much, still very usable out to 50 yards I'm pleased to say, I will post some pics up

    I think from initial testing it looks like it is being reduced by around 40% so for close range shooting (25-35yards) it might be ok I will be doing some night time testing tonight, do you have any idea as to where I can buy a red led for this model? ATB Nathan

    Afternoon people, Just a quick post, after being out lamping lately I have noticed the rabbits on my permission are very skittish around white light, maybe because some little idiots have been taking their pieces of junk air rifles on it and made them lamp shy, so I have decided to filter my lamp it's a ultrafire 1300 lumen cree light that I have mounted on my rifle, I know the reviews on this lamp are mixed but it offers me about 180 meters range and is perfect for what I use it for, close-ish range rabbiting and ratting.     Afternoon people, Over the last few weeks i have been wondering what weight pellet would be best suited to my hw35, I have been using H&N FTT which are 15.55gr but I also have some Bisley magnums at 21.6 gr, my question is would the FTT give me a straighter trajectory and less mussel energy? And would the magnums give more power but a more curved path? Before I replaced my mainspring I was grouping really tight with H&N FTT now I can't get within 2" at 30 yards, has anyone else experienced anything like this and if so how can I remedy it Please include any experiences goo

    Good afternoon fellas, My reply to joe14 wasn't supposed to be rude, I just feel to there are too many people out there that wait for their opportunity to have a go when really they havnt really earned the right to. This forum Is an absolutely fantastic resource for hunters and feild sports fanatics and the vast majority of members are willing to help it's just a shame for the minority being somewhat less helpful .
