  1. Rahaha, that was something I never thought I would see in my life!! Thinking back I am still amazed, might go up and check the fence to make sure it wasnt a magic trick... We were treated to great hospitality, second to non and the scenery was beautiful. What a pleasure
  2. Aye, cheers for the heads up and tips J Darcy, been looking into the law too ;D Do you know of any good websites in regards to UK trappers, as I am keen to really read up more?
  3. What do you guys think, bit of an eye opener for me but I know very little about trapping (thinking of getting started). Is this a common problem/solution over here? Watched a few of the managementadvantage video's with great intrest, hope you guys enjoy them too. As I haven't read anything within the trapping section about the ground freezing over and causing dramas, I though it might be of intrest at the very least ;D All the best, Venum

  7. First got hooked by coursing when I was younger, then it was lamping. Tryed ferreting a few years ago, loved it and will go out at any opertunity but keeping ferrets just ain't for me... haha. Recently had a lurcher from a pup, full of potential and came along nicly, but it had a mischife on a run a few weeks back and sadly is no longer. Think for the now, it's just gonna be snaring and a weinrauch for me, would maybe look at a terrier in the futer but not just now, I have got a right taste for phezzies and theres still plenty of sneaking about in me for the mean time ;D
  8. Seen these... Deerhunter Sneaky 3D, comes in two parts, jacket and trousers, ain't had hands or eyes on myself but for 70 pounds they don't look too bad at all, you can get a few different styles from other brands, like the jack pyke trousers have slits in so you can get hands in pockets, might be worth putting a post in the air rifle section to see if you can get an educated opinion or a review? Was thinking of getting a set myself but am not a 100%, maybe if your wanting to try and make your own ghille you could try the suit and if its not what your after you could us it as a base to start f

  15. Had my eyes on the Weihrauch HW98 for awhile now, had a read through mixed but mostly positive reviews on a few web sites and now I am fairly committed to treat myself to one, not sure on a scope though so any suggestions would be apriciated. Wouldn't say I was a hardcore hunter but I just like to get out there and bag a few for the pot, also I am new to air guns:-) so I don't think a PCP is the way forward for me. Where I am based there's a fair amount of rabbits and theres a few birds that need taken care of as well. I was in initially thinking of going down the .22 route but I think I am g
