Was in the garden just letting them out for 10 minutes they were running around playing and a little Robin landed on the path next thing my youngest hob had it in its mouth has anything like this happened before? Cheers

Ive been recalling her which she isn't too bad sometimes she does run off and doesn't listen when she's seen a rabbit ill tell her to find them and she's in n out of the bushes she's chased the rabbits to there warrens too just hope im doing right thanks for your comments

I don't know what she exactly is but ill try get you a pic i got her 2011 she was about 11 months old is she too old to start? She has chased them but not caught yet I'm new to hunting too cheers

On top on the way to the warrens as i get closer to them she starts tracking

Ive made them out of orange poly twine i thought id see them better with what everyone is saying 4ft and over should be fine for most holes then thanks again for all your comments

My mesh board is 2inch giving me a mesh of 4inch i start with 8 go up to 17 do 4 rows then reduce but the nets i bought was 1 inch by the look of it as there small meshes n also when i put it over the holes it didn't look right when i put it down the hole it kept pulling out when i put the peg in so seemed too small to me @ leeview i haven't had a full season yet i started in January and rushed buying stuff and not getting information first now im trying to make my own to get ready for next season aren't your nets too big ? @Paulus how do you know what weight the nets will end up? thanks

Cheers tiercel that makes sense, @ the one with 20 meshes do you still start with 8 ? And i do 4 rows of 17 in the middle i watched it on youtube like you said and that said that its a 4ft net and what's the best material i bought some nylon nets but they seemed to tangle pretty easy so got recommended spun poly

Thanks pal some are big some are small so a selection of 4fts n 3.6 in new to making them n that's the only two sizes i can do

Yeah baffled me till i realised when i got to 5th row and came undone again so cut it of and started again watching step by step on youtube just need to do my knots a little tidier but to be honest it doesn't look that bad for a practice net

Hi sorry i cant put any pictures up for some reason the uploader isn't letting me browse my pictures but ive figured it out and finished the full net i wasn't going over the back of my left hand and just going through the two and back through the one strand so it wasn't locking the knot properly and slipping like you all said and its string what i used cheers once the uploader works ill put it up
