    Took a shot at a pigeon last night i used a marble looking stone nice and round and abit of weight to it i spotted the pigeon sat up in a tree thought yeah I'm having this one aimed my shot took it,hit it feathers went flying dropped to the floor went over for it as i got closer it feking flew off wtf so went on my way 10/15 minutes later seen another same sort of stone same thing happened dropped it then flew off I'm gutted ill get it one day

    count the number of times the twine goes round the needle when loading, if your short then count the number your short then you can load the needle with the correct amount of twine for a full net +1 I use the same needles and the pattern I use for my purse nets if I put 232 turns on the needle I have about 3 inches of twine left when the net is finished and the rings braided on. Same when I am knitting a long net. I am knitting a double strander at the moment out of 20/6 spun poly I put 352 turns on the needle and it gives me exactly 4 yards of net to the mesh.     Cheers pal i didn't know i had to count the times it goes round the needle i just filled the needle maybe im not loading the needle right ? For one mesh is that once round the needle? Cheers

    Sound noorseman only thing is i run out of twine before completing the net so have to try get it to run out before i go to the next row how can this be avoided? Cheers

    Yeah i know what you mean the pigeons fly off as soon as i go to take a shot same with maggies too but then when i haven't got my catty on me there right in front of me and don't move gunna have to start taking it everywhere with me n yeah also the wind has blew my ammo when ive took a shot cheers longers

    Do you use targets to practice with i just use bottles hit them fine but can't seem to hit any pigeons

    I start at 8 go to 17 do 4 rows of 17 and start reducing back to 8
