  3. yeah ive just been up to butchers n got him some raw all minced up 60p a lb but bought quit a bit so he gave me more jjst gave him a bit n hes munched but before he could hear me getting in the door n started whining just left him n gave him his food no noise now lol gunna take him for a little longer walk now n see how he is after cheers lads only thing is its my mates perm so cant go on without him im gunna get him round ferrets when im bk

  5. well took him for a walk for an hour lastnight did usual things playing with his toys throwing it n calling him back whistling n he brought the toy back to hand 9/10 times n if he dint i told him to drop n leqve n he did then when i got back itwas raining so put him in pen n fed him a bone n put my jumper in his bed n not heard owt from him till 8am this morning best sleep ive had in days thanks lads really appreciate everyones help

  8. 5 miles is piss all to any dog mate. I said it recently on another thread and it's still going now 40 pages on. 5 mile is nothing. My 5 year old girl does it. You could take an unfit pet dog for a 5 mile walk and it wouldn't bat an eye lid. Sure some will tell you to build up gradually. Just use a bit of common sense regarding food and exercise and you won't go far wrong. Don't worry too much either. It doesn't help. yeah pal i read it other day n ill try the hosepipe appreciate everyones help cheers

  10. just loads off chicken , mince , bron bred , tin tomato, sardines, brown rice ,tripe , liver, kidney mix it up threw the week , get a bag off gain or astralin formula aswell good luck lad cheers snapper thanks for the advise

  12. yesterday i gave him a handful of dry food n then got some raw bones ribs ext from butchers they gave me them then gave him one when i got back he munched it in 15/20 mins then was messing about with him n gave him another after that then took him for a walk n before i put him in his pen i gave him another n hes munched that today i gave him one this morning n one at dinner n was gunna give him another after his walk cheers lads
  13. ill put one up when ive eaten my tea pal but i no their ment to be skinny but at have some muscle with the dogs ive seen on here
  14. thats what i was thinking little walks as 5 miles would strip weight off him n as i said in other post hes on border line of been under weight no muscle at all cheers
  15. cheers pal i will do i have him outside aswel so if hes been inside he wont be used to staying out through the night ive been going out letting him know that i ant left him n today i took him for a walk at 6am till 7:15 then i put him in the garden while i nipped in the house he broke through my side gate n went in the street but he came back straight away so i had to pop him in the pen till i got back home at 12 n took him for a litgle walk on the fields n then i put him in the garden with my other dog for the past hour i havent heard anything from him i keep checking n hes layed down chillin
  16. ive got a little terrier x ive tried putting her in with him lastnight but still whining but ill try knacjering him out i have walked him but i thought that if i walk him too much hell loose weight just i think hes on boarder line with been under weight hes eating everything im giving him

  19. hi lads im new to lurcher side of hunting im normally posting in ferreting section anyway i got a lurcher free to good home he's 12 month old i havent slept for the past 48hrs basically since i got him hes been whining as soon as im with him ok but ill nip in the shed n hes whining again im trying not to quit on him n see what hes like cheers lads thanks for reading atb ruggers
  20. Back from vets with the hob had an ear infection gave me some dog/cat ear drops n charged me £58 madness
