Hi all quick question for you , a friend of mine got an 8 week old whippet pup but the last sections of its tail is broken, bent at a 30degree angle ,question one anyway of fixing it ?Question 2 would it make any difference to it balance and turning in the future? The las told him the mother of the pups stood on it when he was 3 days old Anyone come across this before, its only the very section on the tail .

day time ?????????????? I don't know what deer your after or a matter of fact what mad rabbits you chase but day time deer are harder than rabbits, swap to a lamp and I might agree but day time no sorry son!:)oh and remember fallow not roe or muntjics ! i only ever ran big red stags pre ban mate............a buck rabbit was a much more hardy animal............... now I won't agree with you cause I never ran a red stag to be honest but as for a fallow doe I think a rabbit is a little easier but that just from what I've seen;)

Was At The Show Today Suppose To Be Working Dogs
**Lurcherman** replied to Thesharpeend's topic in Lurchers & Running Dogs
I won in birr last year and my dog is well chewed the jugde said I won because the dog was so fit and well made it had nothing to do with being busted up looking and to be honest that's why I taught I won but it was just the look of the dog and after show I said never again a waste of time , trying to get some clown to like your dog and give ya a stupid red ribbon , I know I won but If to be honest there was 15 dogs in the show and I would have picked 2 others dogs if that was the case they were the nicest bullxs u ever seen! But no my lad won ! -
Had one just like that from b+f and there a top class job! thanks for that ill be ordering a few of these look just as good;)

Things You've Found While Lamping.
**Lurcherman** replied to Early riser's topic in Lurchers & Running Dogs
A shotgun some lad had dumped in the wood , turned out it had shot 3 men in Dublin 2 nights before ! Sad story. A better one found a couple in the middle of a field riding like rabbits in the summer time while out shooting rabbits , they ran faster than any hare , no dog would have catch them :L -
Hares aren't owned by anyone so day walkers can't talk down lampers in anyway! I won't lamp rabbits because lads ferreting want them , I won't hunt foxes the hunting hounds want them and I won't run deer cause the stalkers want them , no ill run want I need and fell fit to take , yes but and this quarry is killed for a few reasons main one is pest control for farmers so we get permission the next is fun and sport and that's what we all want so don't make lamping hares sounds like your not a real lurcher man cause it don't matter either way the quarry will be either shot or taken by someone els

-
get a picture up of your bitch? Get the bitch proven before you breed her ,enough dirty being breed! pups would be abit for a fox but sure would could get some earths to show them game but i think its a waste tbh with you!

i aint even into hares like some of the big guys on here ,pest control thats all
-
Well this is the best ive had day and night, obliously ive got 2/3 1/3 in the day but much easier to get the runs at night and easier to catch! i honestly wouldnt get 6/6 in day( i know some people could) so for pest control reason i kill them at night!
-
11 wit 2 dogs ,one got 6/6 and the other got 5/5 ,pretty easy for them ,not as good as the day but to be honest i done it for the farmer ,too man youung trees being damaged and i wouldnt shoot them. they just run around the light and run at you.even taken 1 out of its sit that night but id rather them in the day.ive only ever got 3/3 in the day so that tells you the different is sucess rate both day and night!

The game has no cover to hide ,no ditchs, so basicly its a waiting game , sure once the dog is fit it will just run it down to the ground and it helps when you throw 3 or 4 dogs out the back of a 4x4 and young dogs in on hte kill my arse there all huge dogs, now good dogs but this is not sport this is just a waiting game!
