There are good borders out there its just with them fetching crazy prices there is more people breeding for the ££££££ rather than working . Its the same with the choc patts and in a few years they will start going the same way as the border and Bedlington . The Breeder how can you tell from a dog by looking at him if hes any good ?

The dog I am running is bred by myself out of proven stock with generations of grafters on both sides infact there are dogs in his make that are often mentioned on this site and thats my point to the arguement .the parents or grandparents of Hancock dogs are not proven in the field season after season .

Some how I can guarentee you none of my dogs will be run into the ground And I can guarentee you im no twat like ive already said to Undiputed we are both adults who graft our dogs and will sort this out between us. but to challange all hancock dogs and to say theres NO good ones is ludicous Why do you say that Mark ?. Im not saying there all not up to scratch but the Hancock threads go on and on and usually the thread get locks so this is the only way I can see to finally put the matter to rest . And I fell very strongly about breeding with goog blood You just never know I might have handy dogs .

Thats plenty from you WILF and im not a big fanny ,Ive got feelings you no Gaz I said dont turn this into a slagging match its nothing to do with inflated egos or macho pish as you call it . Just a genuine challenge to someone with a Hancock dog and like I said in my post I will be the first one to congratulate the man if his dog does the business . IMO good blood is the first and foremost when breeding but the Hancock lads dont seem to think so . The arguements go on and on about this subject on here so the only way I can see to sort this out is to run a dog that IMO is not well bred aga

Ive just read through the last Hancock thread on here but got bored 3/4 of the way through it but what I have noticed is that it is all the Hancock supporter that have the theory that you dont need good blood to breed workers . Try telling that to all the men who breed the top horses ,cattle ,sheep ,digging terriers ,racing greyhound ,coursing dogs,pigeons ,chickens that theyve been doing it wrong for years and all this" its what you put into a dog it doesnt matter about the breeding ",if a dog doesnt have it it doesnt matter what time and effort you put into it ,you can get the best out of
