  1. He was all good for it until I took it to a gunsmith, but I can't fault it now. Blooded it this afternoon!
  2. Hi all just got the gun back from a local gunsmith called Richard Large. The nylon part of the valve was jammed and a couple of the seals were on their way out too. He has returned it to me completely serviced and up to the maximum just sub 12FT Lbs and I have to say it is what I expected it to be. He tested it and it now gives 75 shots per fill at 190 bar, I can't recommend him enough as he is one of the few gunsmiths to also work on PCP and air rifles. Cost was £60 all in, and I now have confidence in hitting those rabbits, the cometa may stay for a friend to use? Thanks for
  3. I only got it a couple of weeks ago and the previous owner said he never shot outside as he didn't have shooting access any where. It was up to what I would have thought was full pressure for a couple of days after I got an air tank. Initially it wasn't great, after about 50 shots zeroing today whilst it was great, I refilled it ready to get a few rabbits. Once I got to the end I tried a few shots and all were under power! I can't understand why it was great and then not again? But thanks for the advice.
  4. Thanks for the advice, I'll top it up and let it sit tonight. Will replacing them be an expensive job, as I might be able to get the guy I bought it off to foot the bill if it is?
  5. Thanks I thought it might be that but it didn't explain why it's been firing ok over the last couple of days? I'll leave it over night tonight and see tomorrow. I've got the seals just need to find someone local to fit them?
  6. Hi everyone I'm new to this site and would like to say hello! I have just got my hands on a BSA scorpion t10 eight months old. My issue is that it seems to fill from the dive bottle I have but after some fills has less pressure? I have never had a pcp before just a trusty old springer which I'm now selling! Guy I bought it from has been really good and I have just replaced the pellet probe too which seemed to help. I took it down to the farm I shoot on and zeroed it out to 30 metres, refilled it up to 190 which is what I've read is the ideal pressure and went for a walk. Alas
