The bedlington i have has a very poor coat.Soft? Do most beddy have a soft coat? If so, I would imagine them holding water. I'm not sure though!     Aye, filled eggs with mustard and it worked. Give em some oyster shell/calcium too, might help. Pop some pot/rubber eggs in also. All worth a try. Good dark nest box too. Hope it works It's a pain in the arse, especially when it's a good bird. Atb
