    Picked up my pup today, a cracking gift off gvc litter, Sire -collie x greyhound Dam - malinois x greyhound He's settling in well and I'm looking forward to some fun times. Big thank you lads, you know who you are ? Delighted ?

    Bit of Scottish history , one of the main droves came off Skye and they gathered the highland cattle , fitting some with shoes !! before swimming them across the narrows at Kylerhea . They then drove them all the way to market at Crieff (look at a map) . This is an epic walk and would indeed take a certain type of man and dog to deliver on time with cattle and sheep in good condition.Sadly many a drover was hung on the gallows at Crieff as the gulf between highland and lowlander // town and country grew . For every highlander / drover they hung they hammered a iron nail into a few nearby tree
