  2. Sorry about that bull. The power was once out for 26hrs last year, the eggs had 1 wk to go. I kept the eggs near the fire till power came back on, 3 hatched, I was amazed :-)
  3. OEG bantys lay ok, but they are prone to Northern mite, got to keep an eye on em. Easy treated, some are more prone than others. Light Sussex are good too, they are not fliers, and stay close to home, decent sized egg for a Banty, good Broodys even better crossed with Silkie. Both breeds are good, more variety in colour with OEG though. Atb :-)
  4. Well, i was told the same as Bull, but having read this thread, and thinking practically, and theoretically what UK and Charlie says would make sense. I suppose there is only one way to find out. Atb

  8. Charlie, do some Spanish lines lay tinted blue eggs? Why is it there does not seem to be many Spanish lines, and not alot of info on them? Thanks

  10. Have some pot or rubber eggs in a nest pre prepared for her, that usualy does the trick. Atb
