  2. The chicks have a good 24hrs after hatching on yolk sack. Make the decision then. Any unhatched eggs i give extra time. Will just have to wait and see. Others may have different ideas. Did you candle the eggs?

  9. Make sure they have a good circumference. The big plant pots have, but I have used buckets, or 5 gallon drums cut out.Best of luck :-)

  11. Yes mate, they are very good. You can transport the whole thing at night with the hen covered to a quiet place if needs be.Just cut out some of the lip, screw on some wood so no sharp edges. Atb

  13. Partridge Game hen on 09 eggs. Sitting tight Black Game hen on 07 eggs. Sitting tight Game hens make fantastic broodys, and excellent mothers. Not great pics, i have them seperate from all the other birds, in a darker shed. Atb

  15. Always had a home made bow and arrow, and spears, never got anything. Borrowed people's dog's, allsorts of breeds trying to catch rabbits. Went out with my uncle', and his wee cairn terrier rabbiting.. Got a ferret given and some bisley nets :-) hard work were them nets. Snaring, making traps ( of sorts ). Making fire's/dens. A lot of yrs later still at it, hopefully a bit wiser :-) Atb
