For £15 I would get it done, I had a Meteor shooting 3ins left at 20yds, £20 at a gunsmith cured the problem! He apparently used a press and a bit of know how and it is now as good (or as straight) as new. A lot cheaper than a new one too, All the best, Dave

Thanks for all the welcomes -
Hi there, I am avid user of spring air rifles, with a leaning towards BSA's, mostly plinking down the garden (30yd range). I have been shooting for nearly 50yrs, starting with a Cadet Major, which I still have, to a recent Lightning (well about 5yrs old!). I have done most things in the shooting world, but generally now stick to air rifles. I still go beating in season and on the odd invite for pheasants and woodies. I am always on the lookout for usable sticks for dressing, (I am still learning!) I hope to participate where I can, and look forward to doing so, Dave ps. I am also well into

Bsa Super Sport, What Are Your Opinions?

Hi, had mine from new (in 1995), the only brand new gun to me in my collection, but its the one that has been consistent and accurate and the one I would go for first for hunting or plinking. Mine is in .22 calibre and set up for 30yds, it has been serviced 2 times in its life, and is very smooth to load and shoot. I would recommend that you buy the gun and try it out well, if it does not suit you, you will not lose on it I can assure you, all the best, Dave -
Hi Buch, get yourself the latest Trout Fisherman magazine and check out the advertisements inside the back cover, you should find some information on instructors that may be near to you. I have been fly fishing for over 45 years and still learning, it gets compulsive! All the best, Dave.

Hi there, just joined this interesting forum and already learning from it! I am mostly into air rifles, but have been involved in all sorts of shooting for nearly 50yrs. I also go fishing (all types!) and enjoy beating during the shooting season where I look out for suitable sticks for working on during the summer! I have a small collection of BSA rifles from a 1933 Breakdown pattern to a modern Lightning with a few other models in between which I like to keep in a working condition, and my only PCP, a Logun S16 ( far too clinical for an old springer lover like me!) I look forward to follo
