  1. I'd say greyhounds be quicker than any dog off the mark but it's weather or not they could hold it is say the best dogs years ago were the mongrels of mongrels not knowing what was in them lol I've a saluki bull beddy Wheaton Irish terrier grey with bita harrier hound in her n I like to call her a bitza.. Bitza this bitza that she's brilliant we dog Lamping ferreting daytime running still to prov herself on teeth still young tho 15 months

  5. Seriously, have you ever seen a hare nevermimd a small field? I love the thought process, see the word small field, get a small dog for those of us who have ram small fields will know, no c**t told the hare he's in a small field. As far as he's concerned he's in open land with bits of wire, fence posts, walls, trees, gates etc to use as means of escape. The way you lot talk the dogs got to catch in a paddock or all is lost your right in the fact you need a fast type dog but you don't need a small dog ffs. One that can jump, has a turn of speed and a bit of wind is what your after.Hav I seen
  6. And a lot of obsticles I've seen we dogs put big dogs to shame alot of times

  9. Tripe and chicken seems to do a good job for me I also give them dry mixer aswell tho
  10. Seen a few beardie collie x's do that aswell they would go right out from the beam of the lamp then come in on the quarry...
  11. Small fields and quick out bursts of energy if it was getting them yes I think it would but if it's on flat open fields it's a different story
  12. Run allday for ya there bulletproof dogs very good all rounder
  13. Depends were u are I don't know many from England but If u were from n.i and u wanted good strong lines then something out of Irish lady or lucas would be a good choice... But having them lines doesn't make your dog all that.. The best bitch I ever seen run was a £30 bitch and shed outrun any dog allday long
  14. And the 2 bitches I run on the hate will run allday no problem
  15. I use saluki collie bull grey and a 3/4 saluki grey for the long ears.. Have a 15 month pup for next season her sire was half bull hound with abit harrier hound in the lines an her dam was a saluki beddy wheaton Irish terrier grey... Have a collie whippet grey pup aswell only 4/5 months now he's for the rabbiting and ferreting mainly
  16. Has [NO TEXT TALK] ever known of lurchers with a good bit of collie in them say for example 1/2 or 3/4 collie greys to stalk down the prey instead of catching them... I know a fella and he told me its hard to get a good collie x without it wanting to herd up it's prey instead of catch it and in some cases demolish it lol I didn't believe it but it is sort of believable I wondered what peoples thoughts were on this?
  17. Cheers I thought it couldn't be done il not be breeding her anytime soon anyways about 5 years she's only 15 months
