  2. " Here a fine example you have got one of the best cosistant left backs in the world for the past 10 years, sitting on a bench at chelsea " Chelsea aint too mithered what journos or footballing forum members dream up for absent staff, he's been carrying an ankle injury for three yrs, they'll know exactly how many top class matches are left in him and will wheel him out accordingly.

  4. There are still plenty of Trafford supporting fans inside of Manchester that spit on the floor when the new-age Sky crowd chat about family, class and traditions, reminding everyone within earshot "they turfed dead players familys out of thier club houses after munich, then let a couple stay when they had the press in tow and realised the propaganda value, class....f**k off n'all"
  5. Wonder what Neville's opinion is now, this is from december "I'm sorry, but for me Manchester United are timeless. As a club they stand against the immediacy of modern life. And there is nothing to suggest that the Glazer family will not uphold those same values. They handed David Moyes a six-year contract and everyone who believes in traditional principles in life should be applauding that. So I don't even want to answer the questions about David Moyes's future. I think it's an insult." "In time, he will answer that fully by proving himself. And, while time may be a commodity
  6. I wonder what Fergie made of the young player consistantly leaking info to the hacks and subsequently being dropped from the team http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/manchester-united/6880420/Ferguson-rails-against-sacking-of-Mark-Hughes-by-Manchester-City.html Think it's finally dawning on United fans ther is no utd way and success with Fergie and little need to sack conversly means they've little experience in the hireing department The Manchester United Supporters Trust (MUST) believes it was wrong for the story to leak nearly 24 hours before an official announcem

Be terrible if someone bought it to display in thier ground, though to be fair Fergie did like a ticking clock in olde Scaffold taking the piss out of other clubs... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/David-Moyes-Chosen-One-Manchester-United-Banner-/321385852709?pt=UK_SportsMemorabilia_Football_Memorabilia_ET&hash=item4ad416ef25#ht_684wt_922

While its an impressive figure.....i stopped playing the numbers game years ago the mind and the mirror is my guide. no numbers needed down my Street Len, just a full med ticket to get an invite, me partner well trumpt my reading, though he's got the jump on me having spent 5 in solitary in his earlier life..he told the girl what his reading was before she spoke, old habits die hard i guess, i digress...if you're the type of cockerney that shits his nickers with the tinned fish...
  12. "It's an unusual club Manchester United, it really is," said Ferguson at the Red Devils' end-of-season awards dinner. "If you look at the behaviour of some clubs, sacking managers left, right and centre. "I'm not naming any one club - it's the whole bloody lot of them. "We as a club show patience, show trust, show loyalty and it's rewarded.

  14. First time Man City & Liverpool have beaten United home & away since Premier League's inception Surely that's got to be an accumalator, a slight of hand often used by the internet list makers.
  15. I never seen em win the league with style (11 points) and i've never heard a red in the City of Manchester ever suggest it, seen a lot of 1-0's from Van the man in his first complete season in 8 and seen em play smalling in the fullback role and get away with it.
  16. It's ok to wax on about the 11 point gap in the title winning season but looking for reasons to what's gone wrong now overlooks the fact the teams around Trafford seriously under acheived in the 11 point season. Had they under acheived by 22 points it dont come to pass that Trafford were stronger, same for 33 and 44 points. Thats the mistake the new footballing CEO made, can you imagine Fergies private thoughts when hearing him chat that flawed shit, anyone think his sprung decision to retire shortly after was coincidence. Martinez is a touch fortunate in that he's inherited a somewhat str

  18. Leaving aside the bigger question of whether African players are underrated - Yaya gets almost precisely the level of recognition he deserves. He's almost universally recognised as one of the top 20 or so players in the world - which he probably is (or would be if he was ever fit enuf). He's not recognised as one of the best handful of players in the world - which he isn't.

They're 3rd in the list of money spent on players over the past 5 years.. When you take sales into account they drop a few places but don't be deceived into thinking they are where they are today by spending peanuts! http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2553796/Proof-money-buys-happiness-Manchester-City-Chelsea-Manchester-United-net-spend-charts.html Never looked at that before bit of an eye opener. Doesen`t work for me though, too upright and I put more weight on my lower back, better for me to get further over and split the weight. Bars are wider than I used to run, which helps my shoulders. TBH, the Trek is the comfiest bike I have ever had. I have a bike fit shortly, and I expect to drop the stem another 5mm. I can sit on the drops for ages now. Upright is not always good. Got a pal who said similar to you Rake, he was convinced a more upright position was causing his lower back pain, changed his lay-back seatpost and stem and now he's on 60 miles of Derbyshire moun

Get a 30degree angled stem for your bike rig Rake, dont worry about it looking odd and have the centre to centre measurment shorter than you think fits you, i think liesure lakes or some other cycle people offer a measurement service and if/when your talking to the right kid he'll tell you exactly where each pain morphed fron on your rig. I had a 30 degree stem made by a wizard and had a lot of sniggers from the fashion brigage, later on i got talking to an olde yank pro rider and he was took by my set-up, telling me back in the 80's the sponsered bikes arrived with right angle long stems and
  25. You want to have a word with Rooney Baw cause he reckons he did'nt put in a transfer request (seperate to him earlier arriving at Citys door with his agent) and certainly made Trafford pay for Fergies public call-out, having seen how he received more monies first time around.. the gift horse (whoops) from Fergies ego must have been too gud to turn down.
