  1. we had same problem a few years ago and a game keeper told us about a ladder trap.they a trap ov 6 foot in lenth by 4 foot in width and 4 foot high put ladder in middle of top running centrel along top section cover rest ov trap with chicken wire or some thing like that and drop 2 or 3 eggs in the bottom guarenteed to catch the lot they fly in but can not fly out because wings to wide to get thru holes in ladder.good luck
  2. great read mate.there a few good lakes in cumbria with in windamere is one i no ov and crummuck is another you can hire boats on both but no engine craft on the latter just row or electricmoter.i have seen people fishing from the bank at crummuck and catching them i think thats how to spell it the bigest ive seen from there is 15 pound half the fish was its head
  3. that looks a good bag of critters mate.a tryed the site to get maps to find rivers with crays in couldent get it up do you no of any where elce to get the maps or any rivers in the north of england with them in would love to give it a go and get my selph a bag .cheers fella
