  10. I know of a 1st cross saluki grey that would run through a brick wall, he ran on all sorts of ground 3/4 times weekly and hardly ever had an injury, he was quite a flat footed dog but never had any toe injurys

  12. Think Oscar belonged to Harry Burton, he's in Darcys book a passion for coursing
  13. Well that's Fern been here a week now and she's really settled in, she's still a wee bit timid but she's starting to really come out her shell, taking into consideration her past that she's been passed about abit she's a very steady bitch and her recall etc is spot on, had her out this morning doing abit of road work just to get her fitness up, had a couple of runs with her already and she's impressed so far so looking forward to this season and to give her a few tests to she what she's really made of, Cheers Darren
  14. Any news on JD's sequal to a passion for coursing? And who do you think will be/ should be in it?

  19. This is where the wee bitch will see out rest of her days
  20. Spot on mate that's the plan, she has no obvious injurys but going to get her looked at properly to make sure there's nothing underlying, the misses has took a real shine to her which is very unusual so if she turns out not to be up to scratch she will just get retired to the house and she'll see rest of her days out here, because by sounds of it she's been passed about like a scud book
  21. Cheers mate, she has a chest on her like an oak barrell so hopefully a good sign that she can stick on
  22. After abit of a search I noticed this wee bitch for sale local, so took a drive up and the boy showed me her jumping and in with the stock and she was sound, she was very cheap so thought I'd take a wee chance on her, the boy didn't know much of what she's bred off coursing wasn't his thing, so wondering if anyone off here recognise her or maybe even know someone who bred her, she's just turned 3 year old and about 24tts, she's a very steady wee bitch so fingers crossed the gamble pays off and she turns out to be a good'un "FERN"
