The misses is keen on getting a cocker for the wee ones birthday in the summer and I'm keen on 1 from working stock so that I can use it for some bushing/flushing for the lurchers, so I'm wondering is there anyone on here or knows anyone planning a litter of cockers in the spring/summer? I'm based in the west coast of scotland and willing to travel as far as say manchester for the right pup, thanks in advance Darren

I'm from Ayrshire mate and rabbits are scarce local, as cleanspade said it would be good to go to the local shows and meet like minded folk and take it from there

As a mooching,versatile hunting companion the right Beddy would be a more than useful dog to have in the kennel,i cannot stress strongly enough the trouble you will have sourcing the right un,most are bred from ribbon chasing,shivery arsed dross.As Topper states they are not Fells/Lakies and if you want that type of mutt id stay well clear of Beddy,s,on the whole,there are some about that will still hold their own in a digging kennel,bloody scarce though.If you wanted a vesatile terrier that would also work fox,then id look at sourcing a decent bred un and you will never want anything else.The

I'm after some opinions/advice on the beddy, I was thinking of getting 1 due to their verisitalty, I'd be using it for genral mooching/bushing with the lurchers but I'd also been keen to use in for earth work, I have plenty of expeiriance in the digging game but mainly with Pats or lakies, I'm after some advice on them I.e. Working abilty at the genral mooching aswell as earth work, cheers

Couple of pics of the pup from today, she's coming on really well, recalls good so far and she's steady with stock, abit of work needed on the retrive but all in all I'm pleased with her progress, she 15 weeks today.
