    I used the plr 5oo last season.Ideal for rabbiting but lacks on bigger fields.I'll be using it for rabbiting again this season but for the bigger fields going to try the tracer 210 .anybody else use the 210 supposed to be as good as the blitz but not as big?

    My brothers dog sadly had to be put to sleep last night due to cancer.he had 15 good years.was one of the best dogs I've seen on the lamp he fetched a few young dogs on in his time.RIP lad

    I've seen the stud dog to this bitch work. The grandfather and the grandmother work and I'll tell you they were game for anything you put in front of them.the grandmother would go through cover like a terrier.the grandfather broke his leg coursing...should make handy dogs in the right hands.good luck hope all goes well

    What lamps got the longest distance beam would you say apart from the blitz which is a bit too big for what I want.I've got the plr500 which is a cracking little lamp for rabbiting. Just wondered if there's anything better or anything coming out for when season starts cheers lads

    Been a few weeks since I was out but managed 17 tonight. Fields soaked but can't complain.got to get out while you can. Splodging about at work then splodging about lamping f***ing legs are like lead

    Great eyesight the ones I had were up that beam in no time spotting quarry.and if they went over the top of a clapped rabbit there nose knew it was their.just got to say aswell for bushing around wooded areas there endurance was excellent. Don't think you would get much better in a lurcher for that kind of work..and for lamping a few lads who went out with mine thinking it was going to be to slow and wouldn't be much cop were gobsmacked. So if you're planning on breeding go for it...don't knock it till you try it..I would think about getting another lab cross I've had lurchers for 35 years and

    The lab cross I had was bred labrador dam x greyhound Bull sire. It was certainly quick enough for rabbits and had a go at any quarry.id certainly be interested in another.was only 22 inches but like shit off a stick...good durable dogs and great sport.only 1/8 Bull in sire by the way

    Red filters are shite unless it's pitch black.I use the amber filter much better

    Red filters are only any good when it's really dark.I put an amber filter on and you get much better distance
