    Well said articgun. I am half turkish and my granfather over their had tazis (salukis) seen them as a child over their and they could take a thing or 2, even wild boar. Agree, some of them clips, could of done with a quicker dispatch, i would of done that myself, thats just them tough. My pure saluki dog is going to a very good import soon, articgun knows of the bitch, she works and takes fox ect, as i am hoping to keep the line going, their getting scarce over here in ireland. ps. articgun, trying to send you a pm, your inbox must be full.

    I really struggled with what too do, and its this statement that kept ringing in my ears, cause in reality its the stone cold truth, you really don't know what you are culling at that age, even at eight weeks when they taken some shape and shown a bit character etc, its still impossible to tell anything real solid, look at some of the great dogs take breed or type aside, the real top end ones are all shapes and sizes within the breeds and types of crosses, some say larger litter harsh on the dam, my argument their is properly prepared the dam should easily cope, plus we do our bit by making li

    The girl that had this akita that bit me, had one of them extentable leads amazingly enough, agree, their way too weak for dogs like that, good post.

    i seen the other day a big akita on me walk, some young lads got him, my 2 dogs kept well away from it lol , it had that look about it in it eyes , that it would bite you person or dog you deff. and it was massive got big bone to it, feckin big head, dont know much about them, but i reckon if you tried to pinch anything from where it lived you be in trouble deff, ok some scum would shoot it poison it, but your average thief that are opportunists would regret it going there i seen the other day a big akita on me walk, some young lads got him, my 2 dogs kept

    Iv found in the passed, pups can be a pest with adult dogs and some adult dogs dont have patients and lash out, sometimes this can end in tears, as the pup can get badly injured or killed ! I tend to keep pups away from adults till they get older and more use to them.

    I have given my dog drontal wormer. I also have stronghold spot on for fleas mange ect, how long will i wait till i dose with stronghold ? Don't want to give the 2 together, just in case, thanks.
