I have just finish my first avary bar the paint n wire must say I'm happy with it she's 6ft 5" sloping to 6ft at the front I prefer any building sloping towards me so I can see any unwanted pests like cats, magpies anything. It's 6ft long 3 1/2 foot wide was ment to be 8x4 but due to a sawing problem it's now smaller lol. The bk is complete solid no wire 1 end is half wire n half the front is complete wie part frm 6 1/2" at the top n bottom n a few batons for strength. Wanted to leave as much as the front open as possible for me viewing pleasure. The floor has mesh to keep out rodents then is b

Don't get me wrong some good dog men on the lurcher/terriers bit but some complete gobsh£&es on it critizing peoples every move think they're the only ppl to have dug till a terrier and stuff like no working wheatons I no of 2 yards have nothing but wheatons yousd as strong dogs, and earth dogs and some of them boys have forgotten more than I will ever no bout terriers and lurchers Pity but the terrier bit coz some cracking genuine blokes on it. Gripper just read the 1st post and gathered your doing very well clean tidy setup ya have ther buddy. Do ya always say I wana loft I'd say don't get 1 them kit boxes are dead on but a 8x6 garden shed perfect. Ya end up filling your loft with stock birds n dirt ya havnt got round till putting into the polecats. Buying this that n the other joining clubs an all. Don't no about ur area but them belfast pigeon clubs r run an full off big Nancy boy, pansie spiteful.gurney fookers ya could meet. For instance if 1 of the judges never gave any of your birds a second look season after season for a coupl

Gnipper look out for limericks powerful looking big bird with they're hole feet coverd in feather n some of the thickest strange colours on their chest. Should be a brave lump cocks and hens. Ther lazy but very easy looked infact no looking after in them. I keep the opals coz ther light for droppers for my tipplers but would give up the tipplers n just hold on the limericks in a flash I've them in a beehive oil tank few holes cut out of it ya can screw perches to it but best of all ya open her up n blast it with the hose no scraping no hassle
-
Yeah well try that brilliant

Christian some pigeon men swear by it like you say I have tipplers and limerick tumblers/rollers as droppers me I can only tell if a bird is poorly by looking at its eye an ther would have to be a scab over it. But do ever notice when [BANNED TEXT] I even find myself doing it ( and I don't no what I'm looking for) ya catch lift a bird 1st thing ya do is look at the right eye not if the bird even has wings. Then you spread the wing feathers I'd say 99% of pigeon men do it in that order. Anyway I think if you no what your looking for ya can see it in the pigeons eye. Can be expensive enough t

Guys what do you thinks of using white hens for muling. Any pros or cons? I no me personly struggled breeding white/white fife. Some hatched only lasted a day or 2 then died. I red online whites don't make good breeding birds any truth? But thankfully I won't have to ask Jeeves or yahoo or yell. I will be asking you guys been a member of this site a while and wouldn't post in the terrier or lurcher bit must be awful hard for a young fela who hasn't got the owl fela, uncles or old timer round the corner to teach them or guide them me I was blessed with a WHOLE FAMILY of great white hunters ye

Cheers lads. Like a says green to the game the highlight of my career was fifes n tipplers when came to birds. I have a 6x4 shed with a bit of a flight inside an 3 double boxes. I cleared some my canaries down to my old mans. Kept 2 white hens a blue hen and a yellow hen whick is a super rearer. Just last night was out in the shed to the death building a 8x4 freestanding avairy. Coz had my Goldie's in the flight it's not big flight but anyway lost 1 this morning don't no how just 1 of them things. Will put pics up later once I master how to do it frm my fone.
