  1. Arrows arnt worth looking at, just follow the decreasing numbers, everyone i have spoke to has said thats the only fault with them! Aaron
  2. Im looking for a pair of decent leggings for digging. Dont like the wax type as i find them too heavy and i did have some from bushwear but they didint last five mins and wernt waterproof although were comfy. Must be durable and waterproof for those long wet days on the quad. Also not willing to pay £100 quid for summin like the berghaus ones however nice they are. Cheers for any help. Aaron

  10. For all fox snares they have to have a stop too be legal, it does not have too be crimped. Good code of practice suggests to crimp at 4 inches. Regards Aaron
  11. Last Saterday the was a little incident with a hunt local to me. i thought id share with you, was in the paper today. The hounds got a scent of a fox and then the fox was flushed, the hounds followed the fox into a village and the fox entered into some-ones House!!! the hounds then followed and it all came to an end in the Bathroom!!! Wonder what the huntsman said about that??? Regards Aaron
  12. Check for any prints on the runs, hair around wire or brambles just too see if anything else is using the run. Set snares at the correct height, and they need a 4 inch stop to be legal, deer shouldnt be able to be caught in them then. Regards Aaron
  13. Only ever used a logic flail topper and that worked really well, would eat through bramble and leave a nice even finish on grass. Cant really imagine the ballest rollers doin a great deal, too Light, dont know though and as for the harrows i would of thought they would work as well as the bigger ones, same design just smaller.   15. Keep it short and sharp as mentioned. Also try going back to the basics, sit stay etc etc, keep drilling it into the pup and dont let it get away with any thing, if you give it an inch it will take a YARD! Dont give up and just keep working through it and you will both come good! Regards Aaron

As for the training differance i wouldnt really know, never had a pet/show type before, good working strains have the correct breeding and so you would be halfway there already. for the type of work and that the dog would be as a pet the temprament of a lab is best suited, much more layed back and easy going. i have a springer cross lab also and she is an absolute handful, when shes good shes really good, but when shes not shes bloody hard work! every breed throws dogs with differant temprements so its a bit of luck with the right dog really but a lab is the better option over the cross or a
