Polarised Suglasses
Hydropotesinermis replied to Hydropotesinermis's topic in Fresh & Salt Water Fishing
Thanks. I bought a pair of these for now so I can play with the different lenses ans see for myself how much difference the lens colour makes, then I might splash out on an expensive pair like the costas at a later date -
Polarised Suglasses
Hydropotesinermis replied to Hydropotesinermis's topic in Fresh & Salt Water Fishing
Hi guys. The forum hasn't been emailing me to let me know when this thread has been updated so sorry I haven't checked in. Seems like Maui Jim, Costa or Oakley are the top brands with the price tag to match, I might buy some cheap ones for now and see how I get on with them while I put aside some money for a better pair. Thanks for all the replies -

Yeah she was fit. And Connie Booth from Fawlty Towers, there is an episode where the weather is really hot and she walks in the hotel in a tight top with no bra... Very near blew my beans for the first time over that scene.

Smoking Ban To Be Extended..........??
Hydropotesinermis replied to Blackbriar's topic in General Talk
I have never smoked but I have also never supported the ban, smoking in pubs nevet bothered me, smoking in beer gardens certainly doesn't, I can't understand why the government want to stick their fuxking oar in again. -
Hi. I have been doing a bit of river fishing and am contemplating some polarised sunglasses. Can anyone recommend some?

It comes in peaks and troughs for me, I might have a fortnight, three weeks, month of being ultra f***ing keen, generally see results pleased with my progress etc etc then either fatigue or lack of sleep from work or some other thing sets in and every single rep is a b*****d chore. I have to force myself to do my training it seems to take forever, usually I will throw in an extra rest day if I can, or do some swimming or something instead, sometimes that freshens me up. I think I struggle because of my job I have no routine, I can't say what time or day I will be doing anything, I just hav

Reloading 12 Bore Carts?
Hydropotesinermis replied to slipper's topic in Rimfire, Centrefire & Shotguns
What andyf said. I reload for my 10Bore and have reloaded for 12 in the past but really speaking for 12g you may as well just buy cartridges, they are mass produced so you will struggle to make back what you spend on the gear in savings on cartridges if you see my meaning. That said I shoot quite a lot of .410 so I might start homeloading those. -
What Is The Best Bait For Bass?
Hydropotesinermis replied to kanigra's topic in Fresh & Salt Water Fishing
School bass probably Ragworm. Larger bass will take peeler crabs depending on the time of the year, Mackeral flappers or sandeel can be good. -
Does anybody have any experience with these? I have access to quite a bit of wood in the form of windblown hardwoods, some of which seems criminal to log for firewood. How difficult to use are they physically? What does the finished article turn out like? I am expecting it to be rough, but how rough, and how square/true are the cuts?

Best Way To Separate Dogs Fighting
Hydropotesinermis replied to Gooner's topic in Lurchers & Running Dogs
dogs will genreally let go of the other dog as you lift them off the ground iam not telling the lad too grab the dogs legs and pull them so hard it pops the joint out iam telling him too lift the dog up the way then grab the scruff taking control of the head it some times gives you that split second of a dog releasing a grip and for you too take control off the dog but each too there own you have your ways I have myneTo be fair I'm talking about bulldogs while I assume you're talking lurchers (fair enough, it is the lurcher section ) and your average lurcher probably would release when you p -
Been a long time since I have rigged or even mended a net. My grandfather taught me when i was a kid. Seeing this has given me the urge to have a go again. Good luck filling it with Mackerel by the way.

The welsh should be f***ing proud that they care enough about their heritage to fight to keep their language alive. I sincerely doubt were it the case in modern day England you would see the same thing.

Animal testing is utterly horrible. If it is at all possible to find the desired result without using any animal then regardless of cost animals should not be used... However. I am totally in favour of testing medicines on animals if the purpose of that testing is to save human life or by extension other animals, and that testing is essential and as a last resort, carried out in as humane a way as possible. Testing cosmetics on animals is unnecessary and in my opinion morally wrong.

I didn't see the article and i am no writer but something like this. "...In response to Mr Perry's article dated ........ I was shocked and offended by the utter and astounding lack of knowledge presented by the above, the publication of which is an insult to the reader and you sir should be ashamed for printing an article based on nonsense and conjecture. (you would have to reference parts of the article somewhere here and say what was wrong and why.)as a patron of the rag you deem fit to call a "newspaper" I demand that the opportunity be given to a representative from the CLA or other

I'd suggest some subtle rewording before pressing the send button.

How can you tell from that pic, it doesn't go down low enough. Seriously, Haymin. Move your pups. My bets is the photos on her camera were more of your kennel/security than the pups.
