    Respectfully I think he was told wrong, it's my understanding that it effects any product with the outlawed chemical in, so powder and bullets loaded with that powder... Otherwise what would be the point?

    I've done similar with fish heads, guts and frames, particularly herrings when i used to make my own rollmops. Works a treat.

    I assume most american powders but I couldn't give a definitive list. Any European ones will be fine. Will Hornady or any other manufacterer bother tweaking their powders? The European market for ammunition is probably less than one state.

    You'll be able to buy the bullets, if Hornady don't change the powder in their ammunition then you won't be able to buy it ready loaded.
