  1. Lamping some rabbits last night on some uneven ground... The dog flew off a slope about 8 foot high out off my view and I herd a thud. She came back looking slightly shook up, she was walking behind me and not paying attention to the other dog running or anything in beam. When I got home she was breathing very short and fast and still is now. Eating, drinking, toilet fibe but not herself at all, very lethargic and seems to be stood un easy. Been to vets don't know, as usual.. Vet was younger than me and I'm 25. Anybody had neck injuries before? I had a dog skip disks in her back few year ago a

  5. Depends on how much work they have been doing and being fit all through there life... my dog just gone 8 and iv noticed a bit this year. Takes a bit longer to get her running fit now, but she is doing well and I'm happy so that's all that matters I suppose... first sound like yours is going to slow down any time soon
  6. All live in same town as me..... don't have a clue any of them to be honest. Only been going out with dogs about 2years and this is what happens to them.
  7. I'm from no where near you like but if been asked a few times....always travelling lads
  8. my bitch is 8 now and takes a good while to get her fit, just getting everything into place the last week or so.... don't know about anyone else put I appreciate her a lot more the older she gets. Those odd runs where they roll back the years and do something spectacular don't half put smile on your face.... roll on this season, defo my favourite time of the year September
  9. Yeah buffalo river there called. Much better than a clulite, that is what it's replaced. I thought the man was having me on a bit when he said how good they are I was thinking to cheep this. But really glad I got it now, defo worth a buy
  10. Depends which toe I think the middle two are a lot more important. Pal of mine had the outside toe took off can't remember what the problem was but once it has healed it didn't make any difference to the dog
  11. Needed a new lamp and ended up in a country wear place and got a led lamp from America for 40 quid.... been for quick shine tonight and its probe the best lamp if had myself. Anyone else use these? Called a buffalo something
  12. took the words right out my mouth Why don't you get out with you get out with your dog instead of leaving stupid comments... the man's asking for a bit of advice
  13. I'm not saying I got got two dogs for different purposes I got her for lamping rabbits and she ended up getting a half decent catch dog for me and asked if anybody had the same....... that's all lads
  14. Yeah all pre ban.... Yeah she wasn't got for a Fox dog this is just how it turned out and worked for me, could run and catch them much better than any bull cross or larger dog so doubled up she done well. That lad few comments up saying it's completely pointless hasn't seen how well a team or big ang little dogs can work
  15. She only had a few by herself.... would stay on it a bit longer but I would dispatch it myself
  16. I Think there is two types of dog's for foxes. pre ban I used to have a dog that was only 21" and was by no means a a usual Fox dog. she wouldn't even go near one infill about two years old but she then became over the next few years a excellent catch dog, but once caught after 30 seconds would come off and let the other bigger dog finish. Not interested at all, would never rag a dead Fox either, anybody ever own a dog like that? I really found her quite usefully..... all pre ban
  17. Thanks a lot..... she's coming up 8 at Christmas... got a 5 month pup which is now going yo a friend because I'm moving can only take the old dog. So she will have to keep me going for a year or two now. She looks 5 and fit so just see how it goes
  18. What age do people normally work their lurcher to? As long as fit, healthy and still game
  19. any chance of an invite to see the dogs that can do it?? and are we talking genuine bull/whips with no greyhound blood? a dog aint a penis extension, some people think if they got a dog that does fox is some super hard animal.run what yer brung in my world.have fun.will not run me dog with others, prefer to lamp alone, the only person my dogs got to let down or impress is me...................and that a genuine honest grafting bullxwhip first bit of read on this that makes sense, people don't half love talking shot and arguing on here
