  1. yea ive got 2 that ive had good tally with ther lamp dogs
  2. a strain of lurcher worker to worker for generations don't no whats in them that's wye ther line bread to keep the breed there
  3. ran hancocks al my time but only 24 my dad used to run them ther gud loyal dogs but in my eyes don't have a lot of wind so changed when another strain lit my eyes up

  5. ive had an old Hobart mincer for years and its packed in on me just wondering if you lads no were I can buy a new 1 something to do rabbits a think tommo mentioned 1 a few weeks back

  11. I have a mate in my town I went to flimby dog show with he has a little bitch ther as fast as lightening it won every race but I think the lad would tell ya his self it would be no good for working ect lamping
  12. no becouse ferrets can loose weight in season and it wasent in long ago
  13. out tonight to feed them and an old ferret of mine was dead dazed and its back end was going it dident look good at all its lost loads of weight over the last month has anybody had this

I personally think if you go out a lot and work your dogs hard a few nights a week a whippet needs bread with something to slow them down and make them more robust but I suppose a whippet would be ok for a few bunnies ferreting every now and then for pace but lamping you don't need loads of pace but for short pace you can not nock a whippet I am not very educated in the racing department but I if I was id say id go for a tall whippet but very racy it all boils down to what you want if its for ferreting the od mouching id say get one but for serius work id say dont they are not made for it
  15. a think they mean a more thicker set dog will not cramp up as much as a flimsy one but ive neva had whippets so wouldent no but that's how it is with lurchers I think and heavier short coupled dogs that are slower are more robust but whippets are maybe different because whippets are more racy

  17. 3 year old just I no a lad that jogged 4 mile a day he was very fit and in the end he needed an op on his anckles
  18. whats your thoughts on trotting dogs on the pavements just some say it is bad for the dogs wrists my lurchers are quiet strong and heavy ish whats your thoughts
