dont be a nob, best place to ask about a shooting related issue is a forum relating to shooting, like this one,if people didnt ask, the forum would collapse, your cant be that anti social as your on this forum -

Got A New Scope
sparkycrew replied to Corinium Stew's topic in Rifle Reviews, Technical Help and Tips
i wouldnt get to hung up on power, most springers benifit a detune to around 10 foot pounds, good enough to hunt with and more accurate as they become more uers freindly nick -
Got A New Scope
sparkycrew replied to Corinium Stew's topic in Rifle Reviews, Technical Help and Tips
ive just found out shooting uphill or down hill significantly changes your zero beware as even a slight rise or fall over 25m can catch you out btw iam saving for a chrono nick -
i thought my scope was cheap and nasty, turns out i need glasses, hate wearing them for shooting but when i crane my neck enough to see under the rim the optics are really quiet good,so its either shoot well but miss seeing the shot or see the shot miss the target nick

could try using hawke chairgun pro on the generic mil dot scope,it gives u a graph so you can see how your pellets behave at any distance, you will need to chrono your rifle to work out your fpe regards nick -

Tx200 Tune Or Not?
sparkycrew replied to crazycraddog's topic in Rifle Reviews, Technical Help and Tips
couple of the guys have suggested a strip and re grease to me saying the air arms factory grease is not the best,my rifle is only five months old and i dont to open it up while is under warranty, however, when its out of guaratee i will probably do a mild polish and grease as every firing cycle will move grease from where it should be,but for the time been iam enjoying accuracy/power of these superb rifles nick -
Tx200 Tune Or Not?
sparkycrew replied to crazycraddog's topic in Rifle Reviews, Technical Help and Tips
simon i shouldered a tx 200 and was impressed how well it balanced even with a scope on it,i find the prosport to heavy for standing shots, both are amazing rifles though as i found out when i fired my mates "datsan" strycker.22,it nearly jumped out of hands, sorry for sounding a snob -
it doesnt work correctly with my nikko sterling scope, might as well have micky mouse on my scope cover regards nick

Tx200 Tune Or Not?
sparkycrew replied to crazycraddog's topic in Rifle Reviews, Technical Help and Tips
if its as accurate as you say i would leave it alone, the thud you hear is the spring unloading, having your cheek on the stock amplifies the noise through nasal cavities to your ears, for me the noise and slight recoil give my prosport its character,i shot a couple of expensive pcp's the other night and although they were nice, its a real non event when pulling the trigger, also one pcp shot badly at 40m,prosport hit the hft rabbit more times at 40 metres, how smug do i feel nick
