That i understand an i know as one of the mods youve got the good job on here tryin to keep order sort out the dick measurin contests etc etc which is fine but facebook/twitter/myspace etc etc are not held accountable for there members content..i think if people want to risk bein taken to task on there content posted then its surely up to the individual ??? yes but there are still pics up with terriers badly bitten on that topic that's my pointi 50,000 odd members and 12 mods, its quite possible we miss the odd one thats what the reports buttons for who reported it ???? Any workin dog

Same here mate...my lurcher was my avatar pic an whilst the pic was of him with some blood around his mouth an no picture of any quarry i was directly mailed by a mod an told it was inappropriate !! A pic of a workin dog on a workin dog forum is innappropriate lol....

thats the ones mate...there for surface injurys in the eye...the other ones are for infections in or behind the eye..atb gravedigger

For anyone whos not seen the other thread my dog damaged his eye an ended up havin it removed this mornin...ive now got 3 different sets of eye drops that are of no use to me now..one is for surface injuries to the eye an the other two are for actually penetrating the eye an fighting infection..they are..fucithalmic eye drops..pred forte eye drops and exocin eye drops....if anybody needs eye drops pm me an al post them free of charge..maybe save a dog lad a few quid at the vets...there problably only good for another 4-6 weeks cos theyve been opened....failing that al just bin them.. Atb...gra

Cheers lads....looks pretty messed up just now but it had to be done..but at least the dog is now ok....so onwards we go an start the recovery process...atb gravedigger

Dogs been through operation without any complications an is now at home resting up...

Lucky escape there gaffer ! Unfortunately mine got it in the eye itself...was checked again this mornin an the eye is totally non functional an infected so vet thinks the best course of action is to remove it completely an avoid an discomfort or further complications....so just have to take it one step at a time with him ....cheers gravedigger

Just back from the vet again...the dogs eye needs to be removed so hes away in now to be sedated an then operated on..should find out by 2pm how its went an all goin well pick him up around 5 today...so fingers crossed..thanks again to everyone who took the time to reply...cheers..gravedigger..

Thanks for the advice alex ...sorry to hear about your dog.....yours is good proof that they can learn to adapt with a bit of time..how long did you wait till you had him out runnin again ?? Cheers gravedigger

Hope so mate ,know it looks bad but its better than what it was..an hes actually opening the eye up just a case now of wether he keeps the eye or not...vets 100% hes already blind in it..
