  1. how are you getting on mate any change with the sqwauking
  2. is it luck or fate that you came across her. fair play to you and hope she comes on well atb
  3. what ya call the bitch. i have been sitting on the edge of my seat the last 2 days waiting to see what you go with.
  4. well have to say have a fhh myself and big thing is you dont have to be so strict on the weight, my fhh wont fly over ferreits at all at goes made to nail them, which was my own fault as i introduced the ferrets only in the second season, maybe she will take to them for next season as i moved them infront of the mews and she can see them 24/7 only up side is she is she seems to love the family dog a little small mongrel and now the 2 of them work together he flushes from heavy cover and she waits on in the trees or on my fist. i love going out with both of them and if you want a bird that does
  5. when your ferrets get their first rabbit down those holes then they will switch on very quick, chances are they are not going all the way into burrows if its new to them and yes you will need a dog thats switched onto rabbits but could be any dog once he switched onto rabbits and wont kill your ferrets.
  6. just be carefull not to cook any bones as cooked bones go brittle and can cause bowel injury over 200quid to find this one out. suppose to be ok fresh decent size bones. dont know how true but thats what vet told me. i fed huskys and it was about 3% body weight of meat and bone 70 - 30 there abouts veg veg being added after that some dogs little more some less but you will very quickly find the correct amount. oh and i would give mackeral once a week 1 whole

    Roof Materials

red or green oxide paint the type put on cow and hay sheds and to combat massive temp changes due to corr sheeting just put aeroboard or any insulation on inside and cover with 6mm ply on inside. just an idea hope it helps.

    mhh vs birds

i have fhh and she is excellent at following on she got a taste for pheasant after she got lucky on one on the ground in heavy cover, i have made the stupid mistake of not sticking transmitter on her a few times and got very comfortable with forgeting to throw it on because i was staying local (stupid mistake). next pheasant she spotted few days later she took off after it and for people who say harris hawks dont fly far they are very wrong, 2 days later a neighbour spotted her sitting in a tree. took me hours to get her down (big fat gut on her) but i was lucky to get her back. i wouldnt go
  10. i have a fhh was doing same thing, would squawk when she heard you around the mews or seen anyone. i fitted a shut which was a 5 inch bend pipe the type you get in builders yard. i would go in and out a few times a day and she would sqauwk waiting for food but would get none only through the shute. 2 weeks she stopped associating me with her meal and stop sqauwking for food. dont know your mews design but may help you out.
