    so your pups are interbread then if sire and dam are both of off gimp well your profile says it all mate... you cant spell the name of the place youre from and you have a saluki greyhound first cross with a bit of bull in it!!! dont comment if you dont know what youre talking about pmsl!!! line breeding is a commonly used thing in breeding a line of dog.. it only becomes inbreeding when the lines are bred way to closely.. or two often and faults occur! brother to sister breeding is a no no father to son mother to daughter can be used once but generally no more than that!

    Thanks for that. Yes I'm quite (very) proud of him. I'm afraid the only experience I have had with dogs prior to the Vizsla were Cocker Spaniels. I have worked on the principle that spending time with them and being patient should work with all breeds. If you get to know a dog and understand how his/her mind works it helps. My Vizsla is obviously still a pup but seems to want to learn and please so I try and make it fun for him. Treats seem to work almost instantaneously, retrieving a dummy to hand took one treat (small piece of chicken). He does it about 4 times out 5 and then he want

    prices range between £700 and £900 if and when i breed a litter i keep the price around £750 as i try to sell them a little cheaper to working homes the showyer stuff tends to make more money...

    take them to the vet give a fake name and address, they will diagnose it then they will treat it. when they ask how you goin to pay say i can pay £10 now and the rest in installments then just dont pay them .thats what i do and when the time comes you really need a vet youle be blacklisted by everyone and your dog will die in your arms!!!! nice one [bANNED TEXT]...one thing a working dog man should always have is a good relationship with his vet!!!!

Mind you i was suprised how serious some people are if they dont win, lol couldnt afford it plus my dogs are too good for crufts i see alot of nice dogs on crufts and some ugly looking fcukers lol! its not expensive! your dog roxy looks mean with her bottom lip sticking out like that lol, i bet she is fun to work mate, do you work them on a shoot or do you just use them when your out and about mooching? bit of both and she is a rough

    the wire hairs are slightly harfyer although i have no problems working my smooth vizslas very hard!!!

    there aint a great deal of info out there its just finding the lines that work and keeping hold of em... some of the old russetmantle,galfrid,galway,lines have drive...its just finding people out there that use the dogs they have and dont just pretend to.... apparently the gazven line is pretty well tested in the working field lol....

    I have an undocked vizsla hes lost half an inch of his tail already through tail damage...it is nessasary...maybe not as much as a spaniel however does make a difference to the working dog..

    main reason theres so many is the fact theyre such a popular bred dog..its not down to money but what people want in a dog...you get the odd genuine dog for sale a mate of mine bought a cracking bitch 100% not long ago from this forum but the rest are probably half decent dogs ruined by inexperienced kids or clowns that treat them like machines....
