To clean the eye use optrex if its a bad infection get down the vets ask for a repeat perscription if not any opthalmic eye ointment will do there's a new one out now that you don't need on perscription,problem you got is the pups are too young too have their eyes open.so dont know where ud stand there good luck hopfully the vet will be more understandin as he,s seen one pup you should only get charged fo a repeat prescription not for another examination good luck mate

Now, now, is that comment a deliberate act to annoy the bull x owners? ......... A 1st cross bull who like many others i know have alot of time spent on her physical wellbeing. She isnt a show dog, i do enter her for a bit of fun at the shows. But as Lazylurchers said, whenever i show her she never gets placed, the one and only time a bloke showed her she ended up with reserve best in show and qualified for the Midland My lurcher dog was once given a 2nd. Just measured the pup J he's bang on 26" to the shoulder at 9 months old... -
who cares about the shows,its a fun day out a good place to catch up with friends and old yarns true and usually untrue,anyone that goes to a show just to win a rossette usually dont have a dog that can prove itself in work or dont work in the first place,its good for the young uns and great for socialising pups other than that keep the rossettes,its in the fields and woods that count for me!!!

Well done coney you got it cracked i reckon,just keep goin the way you are and be wary,dont give the terrier a chance to spoil all ypur hard work you probably wont get any hassle now but be on your guard

he,s 25"to26" inches at the shoulder now havent measured him in a while but he'sdefinately got loads of potential his father was a machine taking anything put in front of him the father was 28" the dam a greyhound bitch was 27" so he should have a bit to go yet.. -
Ferrets - how many chances do you give them?

I agree with swansea jack,if they wanna be kits an have a play let em,do you feed complete food or flesh,if you dont feed flesh give em a taste ie one or two whole rabbits then take em out hungry,when i say hungry i mean ravenous it might just trigger the instinct you wanna see,best of luck and give em an easy start a shallow warren even one you know has a rabbit in it (nudge nudge)then you might be on a better footing -
I'd say good cos a dogs attention span is limited if the dog was over interested in the ferret it would probably be to kill it if he's wondering off it means that he's used to ferrets and see's them no different to anything else ie you or another dog,how many terriers would do you know would sit around for approx three mins and stay fixed on an object it was used to seeing,now if he was trying to get at the ferret or was being overly interested then the problem would be greater as he'd have more pressing buisiness to deal with,not many dogs would show great interest in something they did'nt wa

Dioralyte electrolyte solution is great if the a dog has had a really bad nock its cheaper than the electrolytes you get from the vets,does the same job and if you got kids you can probably get it free on prescription when they get a dodgy stomache or the shits just get the wife to insist on the natural flavor cos the dogs dont like blackcurrant it honestly does the job guys i once had a bitch go down lamping through overworkin she couldnt stand collapsed had a fit stopped breathing at one moment got her back through mouth to nose resussitation got her home half a pint of dioralite she was eat

Just checked my ferrets over and guess what plastered in fleas i only checked em over about a week ago and nothing,so just a reminder folks have a look you might be in for a shock,i used johnsons cat flea spray and the little suckers are no more now,so just in case your ferrets have been overlooked please give em an examination,i feel well guilty
