    Aspaniel would be a better choice than a lab...tho im a pointer man myself why have you been advised against a vizsla as far as pointers go they are the most versatile and can be the easyest of pointers to train....

    sold lol done the deal earlyer....handy for puppies or dogs under the weather i already have one looking at a set of four at focus too...plan to have a camera in each kennel... brilliant for keeping an eye out on kennel fights bullys etc...bitches pupping or to pup down etc!!!

    local council dog warden/pest control officer been off for 6 months with stress back in now a month.... thinking about going back on the doors full time as ive had enough of it all.....one cant handle the people two day time work plays fook with my hawking..... in a bit of a rut really lol!!!

    Bat shit and mouse shit is almost identical the one way you can determine whos is whos is roll it between thimb and forefinger mouse shit is usually rock hard bat shit is soft and very shiny you can see the insects legs and wing particles easily!!

    rant all you want mate sounds just the reason why there like that... f**k they have great marketing etc and i always thought it was good but it must be that now so.. also the 16mth old dog stops about 10 times when out loose in the feild to shit but only does somthing once or twice... to be honest im no surprised i was geting it off a mate for 15 euro for 17kg bag.. and sells for 26 euro.. nothing goods ever that cheap... f**k sake looks like its back to the kasco for the lot of em.. get em on a course of synulox or other antibiotics.... sounds like they could have a bit of a stomach/b

    I think Nic you were very unlucky with your Viz. As you say, not all Vizslas are like that. The lines that Gary has are very much working type and are a pleasure to watch working, if not sometimes a little worrying when we are getting close to the end of a drive. The power these Vizslas have is something to see! he he he i keep telling you lisa dont worry i know where they are lol....never a flushing point spoilt lol.....you were unlucky nic what i have is quiet non vocal and works to the death......i like the way i can get inside theyre heads and wind em up or slow them down...the vizsla

    temprament wise theres no real difference the whv is a lot heavyer with more bone although not always the case... the whv as a breed is a relatively new breed mixing the gwp with the smooth vizsla...the one thing that seems evident is the show strain of viz is slowly self distructing as a working breed going too high at the shoulder and losing head and bone....

    you must have more cash than sence then mate iv a lurcher that will work as good as any lab so has doga off hear pick up all day long with them fetch off water to and did not cost a 1/4 as much as them ok lol so ul sell me your lurcher for how much???? hes only a lurcher right so worth at least £200 max or you gunna bite my head off and prove urself wrong pmsl!!! il take you to a shoot that has 500-1000 duck days... your dog can have blind retreives out to 3-500 yards drives where hel pick a 100+ duck out of water in any number of drives... you think he can do that as well as any proff

    cage trap is the most effective for squirrels you can poison....what often happens is they tear stuff up and completely cover over the baiting point.... i once baited on a big board in an open loft and found a pile of cardboard and loft insulation about three foot high where the squirrels had been busy hiding the food(poison) if theyre def squirrels cage trap them is the best option....once dealt with push crushed chicken wire into any cavities along the roof space and outside into the facia boards and fill with expanding foam shud hopefully deter anymore visiters!!!

    lightforce 170 everytime i bought mine rewired it within a fortnight of buying it the one i have now is almost 6 years old and has been used to the max... i tape a led torch to the back of it as a second lite...the cluelite aint as good as the lightforce and you can expect to change the reflector every season as it goes dimmer and dimmer!!!
